I have to say that the cafeteria is TERRIBLE and RIP OFF.I don’t understand why it’s still exist in the college. The Spanish old man is extremely RUDE and money hunger. Please go to Student Union there are sells food by machine (show as picture below) it’s cheaper and nutrition.

QCC is hosting The New York Wind Ensemble's concert and the acoustics are good with a wide stage area. Auditorium is clean and has a balcony.

I graduate from this college long time ago and let me tell you something. Some professors who work here are good..

However!! most professor you meet isnt good. Here's the dissapointment of the QCC they been accept new professors to work here that doesnt live in america cause i did my reasearch that there teachers who are highering has the lower rating job over 2.0 rating of people to be assigned as professors to teach the class and that would explain why some professors are failing students for no reason however only accept the job to gain more money up to 20,000 or more dollars for some hours.

If you join the QCC: I MUST WARN YOU. DO NOT, ONCE FLIPPING AGAIN DO NOOOT JOIN THE CLASS PROFESSOR NAME "SARAH DANIELSSON" she's a chairwoman/professor. why would she take 2 roles of one she's good at and the other she isnt good with. let me tell you why.

It was an Asychronized Class Online however it's an independent online, once the professor post the homework without any meetings the students in the type of class have to answer the homework that was giving to do on time. However Sarah Danielsson my professor gave me two F's on the beginning spring semester all because i disagree on something of what the author had said was false. The Story of the Pholsophy Title is called: "THE MYTH OF RACE". when i read it, the author of the pholoshy said in quote: "All Race Do Not Exist".

I meet up with the professor and I discuss the sistuation of why gave me two F's on my two homework assignments.

The Chairwoman/ Professor-ish name Sarah Daneilsson reply: Look Im white and your black agree.

me: yeah

chariwoman reply: but im a human being

me: yes however if i was a human, then how come i cant identify myself due to my own skin color of my own culture because through out the years if we dont identify our ethicity then how are we going to be self aware for our saftey which pholosphy of self aware is part of the reason for that answer to seek. cogito ergo sum is the definition which said "I think therefore I am" which means that without any selfawareness, how can we be safe if there are people who judge us from the way we look, as if our skin doesnt compared to the whites themselves, as if we were not meant to be born in a society of humanity who doesnt always see us as equals. You can't call humanity if you dont know your own identity of your well being from how the person mistreat us of our skin color and our ethicity can be identify to the person's judgement behavior. Without "Race" own identity ourselves wont be able to be yet to discovered . if I'm a human being then why people think race doesnt exist however still attacking many people of color and whites no reason of why... why call people a human being if people through the years if many people dont learn coop mechinsm skills... isnt that part of humanity to learn about themselves much futher i replied...

the chairwoman/professor-ish was too stunned to speak, she replied. you have two chooses. its either you stay with me or wait until fall for the next semester.

I told her I'll think about and once i was about to leave her office she have some nerves to say this me: "DONT YOU LOVE ME OFFICE!!" because she's white and her office walls are pitch white...

i rolled my eye and turn my body around and says yes it dont look nice and i tunr around and exit the building. i later find out that SHE DOESNT HELP STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES THATS THE FUCKED UP PART.

ALSO DONT TAKE PROFESSOR O'DONNEL CAUSE THE STUDENTS IN COLLEGE WERE RIGHT ABOUT HER. SHE IS AN AIRHEAD NGL.

IF YOU WANT TO SEE WHICH PROFESSOR IS BAD AT THERE JOB. GO TO RATEMYPROFESSOR.COM. THIS HELP TO AVOID YOUR BULLSHIT PROFESSOR WHO GOT ACCEPT TO TAKE THE JOB HOWEVER DOESNT HAVE EXPEREINECE TO TEACH STUDENTS WHO NEEDS HELP HOWEVER ONLY WANT MONEY IN REUTRN.

ALSO THE FARPA FORM IS SOO ANNOYING

I DID GOT ACCEPT TO QUEENS COLLEGE HOWEVER I HAVE TO TURN IT DOWN CAUSE QCC REALLY DONT WANT ME TO PASS CAUSE I REMEMBER THE HALF PROFESSORS DONT CARE IF YOU PASS OR NOT. MY HOUSE WAS FLOODED SO... DREAMS DONT...

QCC is not a bad Community College (in my personal opinion) and even though I did experience some issue with some professors, It was water under the bridge for me afterwards. The QCC Campus give out a positive vibe when I walk through it. The staff the I experience have always been very helpful to me to some extended. QCC has option about buying food. QCC also has a tutoring and a writing center to help students. The School Safety Dept. is really committed to keep student safe.

Personally, The only thing that I did not enjoy was the library and lounge area, It can very difficult to study due to the students "partying" or acting as it some social club by blasting loud music and leaving food on the tables after said student leaves and no staff member or school safety officer enforce it. Basically there is TOO MUCH freedom in the library, hence having a hard time studying in the library.

My First Spring 2017 and Summer Semester 2017: I recently finished my first semester back in May (Spring 2017). It was a great semester. My professor were the best. I also did a crash math course for 5 weeks during July and passed it. The math professor I had was awesome and extremely helpful. I will update when I finish my Fall semester of 2017.

Update 2017 No .1: So I recently applied for the ASAP program where I accept at first but I was then denied later on because I was target as financial risk to their program for certain reasons. They said that they hopeful give me leverage if I was to take a remedial course if I passed (which I did with a “B” letter grade) but in the day nobody from asap kept their word hence I was still revoked acceptance from the ASAP program. I did fight but nor Student affair or the Dean of QCC want to give my fair justice. They pretty much brushed me aside. Which shows that some of the campus officials have no form of integrity nor honor and is a huge contraction to it own policies. QCC is kind of hypocrites to there Zero Tolerance Police, they take more of a passives approach instead of being aggressive.

Fall 2017 Semester: I just finished my Fall semester of 2017 and beside having to drop a couple of class because whatever issue I had with my two professors; but in the end my semester of Fall 2017 was okay. I still haven't been given the fair justice by any of QCC officials and I’m still brushed aside with my issue I had with the ASAP Program. Which again shows that they have no form of integrity nor honor and is a huge contraction to it own policies.

Fall 2020 Semester: So after a while of being absent from QCC, I had a very successful semester with grades this year. Even though I already know and the Zoom classes, it was very new to me but none the less I learned and overcome it, I had very awesome Professor's!!! They were helpful to me during the Fall Semester of 2020. Fall 2020 was very successful to me in QCC

General Overall Update July 2022: I had a very successful semester with excellent grades each semsters. My only issue(s) would be is the whole college bureaucracy. The bureaucracy at QCC has been very stressful for me espeacially given that I am chronically ill and it really effects with my mental health beyond measure.

Depending on the classes, some of the Professors incorpated/entrapped there political opinions /ideas/agendas in there assignments/teachings, which was very messed up becuase I felt like they were looking to see or root out on who is/was "racist ", prejudiced" or a SWJ(social warrior justice) The same goes for the whole campus. There is a lot of PC (Political correctness) within the whole campus and professors.

Final Update: I am no longer part od Queensborough Community College. I acutally transferred out from Queensborough Community College. I'm happy with the choice I made by transferring out from Queensborough...

They will ruin your college experience. How? Professors are limited, if you have a problem with a professor you are in trouble, because even if you drop the class to re-take next semester chances are it is the same professor, early or late enrollment. Advisers will "help" you by getting 12 credits sorted out. Here's the catch if you trust them to much to do that for you my freshmen who may be reading, if only I knew this would of saved me a couple hundred dollars. They'll get you 12 credits, but only 11 are towards your major, therefore no TAP will be awarded along with many other loans you may / should receive, b/c you need 12 to be considered a full timer. Math Professor does not know what temperature water boils at. Buy the book = Don't even use it. Don't buy the book = Everything is assigned from book. Walk to the campus you need to inhale a ~15-25 second hand cigarette smoke, sometimes it is not cigarettes either, it is a shade greener which is a failure to school security and care...Signs everywhere saying "25 feet distance from school property if you smoke" some even do it inside the property during winter 2nd off: They had construction going on in the SCIENCE building during class each day from year 2014-early 2016 for a cafeteria. Good luck taking a test or hearing anything. They still do construction in other places to this day, while classes are going on. And I do not speak of night classes, I speak of during the day classes. Next: They will only contact you through their email (Tigermail), not the contact info you provide them. Do not rely on your personal email and hope to God they never call you, because a Call to your phone usually means it is to late regardless of what it is, whether it is a weather warning, a class in risk of failing, or financial. Final but certainly not least: There is no safety at this college. Anyone can walk in from all entrances with out being questioned or looked at. I have been threatened by someone at this school which is why I will no longer be attending here after last semester. Someone had threatened my life on campus, and I do not even think this person was a student here. This is a Community College or is this just a public park, everyone seems to be having a nice time, not learning a...
