The park is pleasant, although I believe it could benefit from improved maintenance. Our visit in January may have contributed to its less-than-optimal cleanliness. Nonetheless, the children thoroughly enjoyed observing ducks and swans, with the swans proving to be a noteworthy highlight. A leisurely 30-minute stroll around the park makes for a...

A neighborhood gem, nestled a few blocks off Northern Blvd. A half mile walk around the scenic lake, teeming with urban wildlife, does wonders. There are seats on the waking path and cute little areas off the main walkway. A more "wild" path that follows the wooded area of the LIE can be found across the street...
