I would like to express my deeply disappointment on the New Year eve dinner served. I brought my friends and convince them to come as well as my brother in-law that came from California. I was told by a friend of past experience that this restaurant served good food during this festivity. I made a reservation for five guess, we paid $140 + tips + tax = $180 per person and our surprise when we got sited, there was a small dish of smoked salmon including 4 small pieces of salmon and three rings of onions, one old Portuguese bread cut in pieces, five mussels vinaigrette and five small bowls with fruit salad. Then the waitress brought 4 pieces of potatoes croquettes, a small dish of fried calamari with about 10 pieces, empanadillas, about three cut in half and one chorizo cut in small pieces. When we were asked for the drinks, I asked for cava, and I was told that it wasn't available (although the menu said "unlimited cava"), then we asked for wine, red wine. No bottled was brought to our table, instead a cheap wine was brought to us in cups. I asked the waitress that How was possible that the table close to us was for only three people and had the same amount of food that our table for 5 people had, no answer. On the entrees, two from our table requested the sirloin stake medium well, and the meat was brought medium raw, we asked again to bring it back again but medium well and again was brought raw. We were very disappointed with all the food and drinks. As a reminder, we pay per person and not per table. We should all have enough appetizers to satisfy each of us, because we pay per person. In stead of provide each table with bottles of wine (red, white, etc.), it looked like there was no intension of showing what kind of cheap wine was served, not even the cava was good. Also, according to the menu, it says DESSERTS and coffee, well the dessert was only a very small piece of cake, no other dessert was offered as the menu says DESSERTS. The only redeemable was the music, the DJ was great. BTW, I was told by another person that she was offered to pay in cash instead of credit card and she would pay less. No one offered this to me when I paid the reservation; otherwise, I would pay in cash to...
Read morefirst time here. came to celebrate a retirement for someone who greatly deserves to enjoy the rest of her life without worries. but let's get to the food and drinks. Arrived by 740pm. Seating was pretty quick. Waiters, Runners and possibly the Manager not sure we're very polite and extremely professional. Asked the wife and me for what we would like to drink and then awaited for to be asked what we would like to eat. meantime we were moved and seated with the retirement party afterwards where we gave the table waiters our peference of what to eat. 810pm we gave our orders and drank water and a Raspberry Margarita. The wife preferred if her meal (appetizer: Aguacate Relleno De Mariscos & a side of Fried Bananas ) could come out with my dinner a Paella A La Valenciana. Food started coming out to the table around 920pm. Waiters were a bit confused serving the table of 30+ individuals and weren't sure as to whom order what. which was a bit shocking when they wrote it down. my wife and I didnt receive our food until 940pm. At this time they also forgot the second choice my wife wanted and wasn't served to her until close to 1000pm. As far as my Paella A La Valenciana. the surrounding of my plate were colder than the AC that was pumping in the room. All the shrimp, mussels and shapes were cold as if they just pulled it out the fridge. The paella itself was tasty and delicious. which came with 2 small pieces of chicken legs who's legs part was cut off. Overall: The music was good, staff was great, food I would have to maybe try again. but for now I don't think I will visit anytime soon. unfortunately. thank you for...
