In the times I've been here, the things that stand out are always the cleanliness of the rooms and the friendliness of the front desk staff (and I'm kicking myself that I've never learned their names because they are soooo nice and I would like to shout them out.)
The staff really does make you feel comfortable having a good time. Whether you're there for the first time and don't really know how anything works or if you're a repeat customer. The song selection is pretty expansive. However, it surprises you in both ways. They will have surprising niche artists like Troye Sivan, but miss out on karaoke staples like Ray J's One Wish. Maybe it's a limitation on the storage of the system, but it can be frustrating to look for something you feel SHOULD be there and then also exciting when you take a chance to look up someone just to see and they are actually there.
The system is easy to use. You just type in the numbers and hit the labeled reserve button. The mics are hit or miss as far as functionality. Like some mics will have better pickup than others or sound different. Annoying, a bit, but not a drawback, in my opinion. Should be looked into, though, for quality control.
The only con is that the drinks are mid to disappointing. I'd just recommend sticking to the bottled stuff. Maybe I've just always had a bad bartender when I'm there, but the cocktails are always taste off. I just end up ordering multiple bottles of the soju for the group 99% of the time.
Overall, go here. It's fun, the staff is so cool, and you will be comfortable while you're having fun. Don't go if you're a stickler for cocktails with your...
Read moreDecided to try this place since it was closer than my normal spot. Horrible idea. We got to their establishment at 10. No other customers were there which is great because then service should be A+…..NOT. Kitchen closed so I actually ordered food from outside(I had a group of 5) and had to pick it up too since delivery was more than 30 minutes. This was my first indication that I should leave the establishment but my friends came all the way from Long Island and took a cab. Now onto the horrible service. You have over 10 rooms, no one is there and you place us in the one that has a busted speaker? Call bell doesn’t work so every time I was to order something (only beverages remember their kitchen was closed lol) I have to walk all the way to the front because we place in the back for some weird reason. Honestly if you go to establishment and everything is in their language (in an English speaking country) that’s a clear sign that certain people aren’t wanted in their establishment. I got the message loud and clear and WILL NOT be back. I should have listened to my gut and drove to beats karaoke in Brooklyn but that’s what I get for trying to make is easier for people that were...
Read moreThis place was wildly disappointing. We sensed a very distinct stance that was unwelcoming. They told us they were out of rooms but offered us the oldest, broke down unit they had. The room had mouse droppings and there was dust EVERYWHERE. The remote didn’t work. The attendant told us after we paid that they had no selections available that come with the package we paid for—food, beverages and even music. The song book they gave us was sticky and looked like a bible from the early 1600s. When we asked for clarity on the treatment and service they offered a refund and suggested we leave. Very unhelpful, very dismissive, very low brow establishment. We ended up at K Pop Karaokee and spent $500 that evening. Please don’t go here. We also sensed this place may be a cover for “other” activities…if this is all you can afford, just say a prayer and carry Lysol… but you really can do better in your living room. We left a complaint with the Business Integrity...
