For a local market this is wonderful. Awesome, well priced produce from three vendors. The Cheese Guy is there and incredibly helpful with his full lineup all available to taste, two huge advantages over a grocery store. Kudos to his entire staff for their patience. Doc Pickle gets the same shout out. Some prepared food vendors look good but I have not purchased. Clothing donation and fabric recycling with easy drop off have been a weekly inspiration to clean and my closet and have not thrown out a single piece of fabric in the garbage this entire summer. I fear I will be lost when the season is over! Important note * The market is open until 2:00 PM but get there before noon because after that the vendors are pretty much cleared out of stock. Read moreWe moved to Riverdale a year ago, and so far, this has been my favorite discovery aboutthe neighborhood! This farmer's market is not very well known for some reason, but this is where we do our weekly grocery run. You can find pretty much everything you would need to eat a healthy, nutritious diet, with the added bonus of supporting our local vendors. The produce we purchase here lasts longer, too, because it is so fresh. I would recommend anyone interested in getting into the habit of supporting a farmer's market to come to this one. The vendors are all very knowledgeable and they share info, good tips, and will make suggestions on whatever you are getting seasonally. Check it out when you can, i am sure anyone...

You can use website to get time slot in 20 minutes slit size. Even with reservation there were long lines from previous time slots. To avoid lines and waiting you can pre-order from done vendors (check website) and pickup anytime from dedicated stand (no need to wait in line).
