This place has gone downhill! The level of cleanliness is questionable! As I enter my third year of being a stay at home father of two, I have come to see what are the differences between a clean and darn near CDC breeding ground of germs.
First off this establishment allows for shoes on in the arcade which you have to walk through to get to the play area and restrooms (the much cleaner establishments have you take your shoes off the second you walk in the door.
It makes no sense to be walking around and area with just socks on where everyone else has been walking with shoes on and then you return back to the play area.
The restrooms are used by delivery personnel as well. Just walk in, deliver packages, and off to the bathroom with their shoes on. The bathrooms were not clean, piss all over the toilet seats, and overall just disappointed with the level of cleanliness.
Many of the arcade games are not working, the padding and climbing gym's overall appearance is starting to show wear and tear with no sense of upkeep. The sand play area has tons of human hair in the sand and green mold is starting to build up on the sand stuck to the floor and toys.
I rushed my kids home to feed them, because no way were they going to eat there. I crossed my fingers they made it home in time to potty without an accident. And they took an extra long bath with all of their clothes stripped down at the door ready to go into the wash.
Yuck, Yuck, Yuck.
The size of the place is the best in Brooklyn. However, sadly this place is too dirty for...
Read moreI'm a really dissapointed with this place. I paid $15 at the entrance plus $1 for tokens and cute ID tag. We were super happy that we are going to spend a day full of fun. Once my kid was playing I have noticed that at the back of the tag is a small notice with the time we came and the time we have to leave and that we have only 2h to play! No one told us that when we came!!! I went to the front and ask if I can pay another $15 for my kid to play a little bit longer. They told me it's too crowded (once they were accepting huge line from the street coming from every direction), so I have to wait for the people to leave and then "maybe" I can pay additional $15 for 1 hour only! Not to mention that the place is dirty, old and most of the things are broken. Credit card minimum $10, food they served in most, is sushi and rolls so you better bring your own lunch if you don't want your child to eat raw fish/meat. Most of the machines are broken so you can't get your tickets back. Nobody speak english, they don't care what you want. I told them that I put tokens and I suppost to get the tickets, the lady went somewhere and I never saw her back. You can find many other places where your child can play for all day pass for $15-$18 not for 2h and you not going to have a headache finding a parking spot! Think twice before you go there. Too much nerves not worth the money spent. DO...
Read moreThis might be great if you want to commit to two hours of play time as a minimum... we wouldn't know. We were passing through (we don't live here). We could only commit to about one hour of play time before a dinner engagement (we walked by and found this place randomly) and they refused to offer any kind of shorter package, even if it a lesser value for us, which normally be fine.
That isn't really why I am leaving a 1 star though.
What was not fine is that even when asked about if we could pay... for instance $12 for one hour over $21 for two hours (that we wouldn't be able to commit to), the front desk woman couldn't be bothered to discuss it nor even spend more than 2 seconds to address it, consider the idea, etc. Didn't even look at or welcome 4 year old son when we walked in, say sorry, nothing. Just shook her head, walked away leaving us at the front desk as if the place way busy and booming.
Policy is policy I guess, but that interaction was weird and cold. Especially considering that they post that they lower the price to $13 anyway at night (we asked at 5pm and the place was pretty empty when...
