The purpose of this review is not to hate or harm this place and the people who take care of it in any way, shape, or form. That being said, I hope you take this review as an informative review. Atmosphere: So, I didn't even know there would be a playground on this island. I was just going for there for the soccer fields. Anyway, it was a nice, simple little playground for the little ones. I think this playground is suitable for kids 3 to 10 years of age. It doesn't have too many games, thus minus one star. I also hope that people going there would be more conscious and not leave garbage such as beer bottles or soda cans. I mean, this is a playground for kids, not a garbage can. Come on, people. Accessibility: There are three ways to get there as you may or may not know. You can get there by car or take the bridge riding a bike or walking. If you are in Astoria, you can take the Tri-Borough bridge. If you are by east Harlem, you can take the Ward's Island bridge that's located between 102st and 105st.
