Randall’s Island Field #74 — Local services in New York

Nice park, good for a family to BBQ and have fun but the parking is horrible. They dont want you parking near the spot you are setting up your family event and you have to park far away. Not very welcoming to people with disabilities or seniors that can't walk much. I literally had to park under the bridge and walk a while to get to 63. Carrying food and a baby is not easy when you have to walk far. Park safty didn't even want me stopping near 63 and it was difficult. I'll check other...

Randall's Island is a beautiful park off the eastern shore of Manhattan. Scoring beautiful views of East Midtown, and overhung by the RFK Bridge this is a great spot for a day away from taxis, spitting commuters and tourists walking 3-4 in a row blocking the sidewalks.

There's usually games going on here, amateur and semi-pro alike such as rugby, soccer and American football. Make a day of it, come to this oasis just a few minutes away from home and enjoy yourself. You deserve...

Was there for my niece's rugby game in the Women's Premier League (Atlanta Harlequins vs NY ) on Sept 18, 2016. A beautiful place. I biked here via the 102nd Street pedestrian bridge. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the field is made of a poor variant of astroturf. I understand that grass is a nightmare to maintain but I also know there are better grades...
