Shakira spa知足常乐:（诱惑力分店) — Attraction in New York

My friends and I have been to this spa several times for foot and body massages, and every visit leaves us feeling uncomfortable. From the moment we walk in, the staff seem glued to their phones, staring at you as if you’re a spectacle. It doesn’t feel welcoming at all. Please tell your staff (especially the men) not to stare at people when they walk in the door!

On one occasion, I even saw a woman squatting outside the store while talking loudly on her phone—an unprofessional sight that really detracts from the spa’s image. Inside, the atmosphere isn’t any better; staff often chat during massages, which disrupts the relaxing environment I expect.

To top it off, there’s a mandatory $15 tip minimum for foot massages, which feels excessive given that the quality of service is inconsistent. Some masseurs are just average, and we haven’t yet experienced a truly great massage here. For all these reasons, we have no plans to return. Will try other new places...

I came for a Full Body massage at SPA Shakira and unfortunately, I was very disappointed. First of all, the room was cold, which made it impossible to relax. I told multiple times that I got cold, after 5 times she turned off AC. Secondly, although the therapist was a pleasant person, she clearly lacked technique. She didn’t feel the pressure points, her movements were mechanical, as if she was just kneading dough, and there was no energy or professionalism in the session.
