Experience a Flavorful Culinary Adventure at H.K. Tea and Sushi, where you can delight in their remarkable offerings. Indulge in the exquisite baked oysters, savor the succulent pork chop Hong Kong style set combo meal, and warm wonton soup.
The baked oysters took center stage, impressing with their flawless preparation and enticing combination of toppings. The harmonious blend of kani, caviar, seaweed, scallion, and mayo elevated these oysters to a level of indulgence beyond compare. Each bite was a symphony of flavors. Not only did they tantalize the taste buds, but the visually appealing presentation added an extra touch of delight to the entire dining experience. (Cost $14)
The pork chop Hong Kong style set combo meal was another standout. The pork chop itself was expertly cooked, boasting a crispy exterior and tender meat. Accompanied by fragrant rice or any variety of sides, the combination of flavors and textures was a true representation of the vibrant cuisine found in Hong Kong. This well-rounded meal left me feeling satisfied and fulfilled. (Cost $19)
While the wonton soup was enjoyable, it didn't quite reach the same level as the other dishes. The flavors were decent, but it lacked the wow factor that I had anticipated. Nonetheless, it still contributed to the overall dining experience. (Cost $7)
In summary, the staff at H.K. Tea and Sushi were friendly, attentive, and created a welcoming atmosphere. Their knowledge about the menu and willingness to assist added to the positive dining experience. H.K. Tea and Sushi provides a flavorful culinary adventure with their baked oysters, pork chop Hong Kong style set combo meal, and wonton soup. Despite the slight disappointment with the wonton soup, the generous portion sizes and the attentive staff make for a memorable dining experience. I would highly recommend visiting H.K. Tea and Sushi for a taste of their...
Read moreIf you came here for Chinese food, stay here and order some Portuguese instead.
I came here with a few friends on a Saturday night around 7-7:30 and it was packed, crowded and had a line form for tables already.
First off, let me say that this place is quite tiny. It is very beautiful inside. The décor is quite fancy looking, but still feels spacious when you sit and crowded when you stand.
The lighting gives it a dark bright contract that really does have a positive effect on mood. At least that's what I got from it.
The service. The waiters are quite nice, save few, and remember their first language is Chinese, so and English that sounds weird is because their accent probably throws off the complete meaning of the word. I say this from experience and not because of racial stereotypes.
Food. now this place is very affordable, and won't make a dent on your wallet. The foods start from as low as $1 to I have no idea, but can't be all that expensive unless you're ordering a lobster.
Now as I mentioned before, Portuguese. There is this menu below Noodles that has Baked Cheese something....
This is Baked Cheese Rice with Portuguese sauce. It is AMAZING. Never did I know something this tasty existed until the day I ordered this.
The price of the dish is roughly $6-8 depending on which meats you order(chicken, pork, beef(I think), or seafood). With 5 of us, the bill came out to roughly $7-10 a person including tax and tip.
Everything on the menu sounds amazing AND cheap. I will definitely come back to try to rest when I'm...
Read moreThis review is a year old so things may have changed since. I went here with a friend the employees at first seemed very welcoming. Seating was fast our server came quickly and the food shortly followed. My food was okay. Oily and nothing very special. My friends food in her words was unbearable. So unbearable that she winded up ordering a second dish and that wasn’t much better. After paying for our food I decided to tip while my friend did not. She was dissatisfied with the service and the quality of food she received and wanted to leave. Within seconds of us standing up to put our coat on a short skinny male came and took the Merchant copies and walked to the register. He immediately came back demanding that we pay more for tip and stated that it was a NY state law to pay a minimum of 20% tip. Obviously when we challenged him on his lack of knowledge of state laws and his poor display of professionalism he sucked his teeth and said “just get out leave.” We left stunned. So again this was a while ago and I thought I put up a review already but that seems to have disappeared. Just enlightening others to my...
