St. Helena's Roman Catholic Church — Attraction in New York

The so-called "Pastor" Jorge L. Ramirez displays rude and arrogant behavior toward parishioners. He lacks empathy, respect, and appreciation for the people he is meant to serve. Instead of applying his teachings, he ridicules others. His negative attitude is why many to stay away from the church setting.

We hoped that soon he will be replaced by a clergyman who understands the word of the Lord and exemplifies genuine faith, rather than hypocrisy.

Love all the new ministries this parish has been incorporating the past 5 or so years. Youth programs, boys scouts, various community parties and activities most for free. Flea market, monthly plant base communal food prep and dinner, growing Chior I’m a part of, various language spoken here of Spanish and French aside from English, annual carnival, the Spanish mass having a mariachi band and now Christmas Wonderland. Just so much more stuff going on than when I joined...

Father David and Father Nelson are great examples of men of God. They teach God's ' word in away that you could understand. They're able to bring the bible to life. They are attentive to your concerns and make themselves available to you. They both have welcomed me into the Church as well as helped me thru my spiritual journey.
