The rooms of the conservatory aren't particularly big - just enough to make one small circle. As such, it can get somewhat crowded when a group wants to see a particular flower and block the road. I appreciate all the designs of the rooms - the thorns of the desert room are quite pointy. A room full of bonsai is always fun to revisit every few years. The pond lilies are a bit far away, would like a way to get closer to them - perhaps an elevated platform

A collection of greenhouses housing plants that are less suited for the New York climate, including a bonsai collection, a tropical plants collection, and a desert plant/cactus collection. As of late April 2021 the greenhouses are still closed to the public due to COVID, but you can still partially view these collections through the glass, it's like window shopping, but with botany instead.

Like traveling through a portal to a different part of the world. The amount of different plant species here reminds you of how much biodiversity is in the world outside of the city. Great place to walk around with tourists or locals

The conservatory is a nice getaway to learn about the different climates/ environments and how they impact species of plants. It’s a great place to take your kids. There a different rooms to explore teeming with thousands of varieties of fascinating species. If the weather outside is a bit too hot or too cold and you need a retreat within the botanical gardens, stroll into the Conservatory and your...
