Not an official dog park but has been created into a very well known dog mom and dad meet up where everyone lets their dogs off the leash to play in the center grass area...you just cant miss it. While the dogs play many dog parents are there exchanging advice its really neat. One thing that would be nice is if they closed in a small area for dogs and it doesnt even have to be the center it could be any where. Oh and there is a new pet shop called Whos Your Doggy right across the street from the park...great way to reward and end the day with your dog.

I go here almost every morning with my pup. Is it the greatest neighborhood park in Brooklyn? No. But I feel we are lucky to have it. Playground for the kids, dog area. Trees and an exercise loop. The place feels like it is evolving with the area and retaining it's essential neighborhood qualities.

I love the new playground! The park is wonderful except the large field is filled with dog feces. Although signs around the field prohibit dogs, dog owners ignore the signs. The park would be enjoyable if the City created an enclosed dog area along the long sides of the park.

The park is about 3.2 acres in saize. There is an area in the center that has 5 tables to sit 4 people each. Each table has a chest board embedded on top. After i finished eating, a family of people came by to do a BBQ graduation party there. 20 people can sit comfortably there. All you see is mostly families. People walking theie dogs, riding the bikes. There were kids on mini scooter. It has been tough during this pandemic of 2020. There was a little girl, she must have been about 6 years old, on her scooter saaying to her friend. "This is the best day ever". This should remind us how important these parks are to the inner city. There plenty of benches and almost all of them had someone sitting, reading or dozing off. The path which encircles the park on the inside has plenty of room for soneone to ride their bike while walking with 2 or 3 other people next to them. A few people had their Bluetooth speakers playing music. They were not playing too loud. The day was peaceful and tranquil. Another group of people came towards the North entrance and started another BBQ. The North entrance also faces the Saratoga Village NYC housing. It was truly a nice day...

It's a neighborhood park. Don't come here with pretense or thinking you don't have to clean up after your dog or that certain people shouldn't be allowed in the park. This is a neighborhood park that was built by and for black folk. Have the courtesy to address those people who are staples in our community with a smile, a hello, or have a great day. If you're coming to the park, leave your hipster apathy at home - Be the person your dog...
