Normally crowded, prices are a bit higher than I like to see but not terrible. Cashiers used to be good but they've been hiring young girls who don't really care about working or quality. They tend to stand around and gossip. I even got to listen to a conversation between 2 of them about how they had cheated on their boyfriends while they giggled and one of them rung me up. The deli workers are something else. There's 3 men I dread to see behind the counter, 2 are decent. The younger man that works there actually seals the bags (zipper) then stickers them, tries not to over fill bags either. The others will over fill the bag and only sticker them. I actually dropped 2lbs of meat into the basket because from counter to basket, the sticker ripped off and it was wide open. Make sure you ask them to close the bags! There was another man recently who was fantastic. He offered me cheaper brands, asked exactly how I wanted the slices, how much I wanted per bag, and he was so friendly while doing it! Unfortunately he must have just been a stand-in. Haven't seen him since. :( The stockers do stocker things. They try to minimalise their presence to stay out of the way but will help you if you ask. Most of them are very nice! Be nice to them and they'll be nice to you. There's one skinny young man that is...

Ā Ā Ā Read moreUsually I enjoy my experience at CTown. However after yesterday I will probably not be buying produce there ever again. I was unpeeling an onion and realized it had mold on it and some of the garlic I unraveled was brown and could not be used. And you have no way of knowing these food items are bad until you unravel/cut into them. And to make it worse, the asparagus I bought, I noticed one of the pieces were moldy and I was very apprehensive to cook with the rest of them. I could understand if it was one item but this was THREE things. I also used these on the same day that I bought them so there is no way they should have already been rotten. Please see pics attached and be mindful when buying produce...
