Nothing compares to Bay Ridge Pizza! And I am speaking from experience! A few years ago, my family and I moved out of Brooklyn (a big mistake) thinking that we could find happiness in Staten Island. Well, Staten Island is beautiful, it's quiet, and the people are decent. It reminds me of how Bay Ridge used to be. However, even though many pizza owners left Brooklyn and moved to Staten Island, their pizza stinks! And I have lived on the island for over five years and I have yet to find a great pizzeria! Every now and then I go to Brooklyn for business, and this time I decided to stop by Bay Ridge Pizza, and it's interesting because I now don a beard, and through the beard and all, my old friend Gasper, the owner of the establishment, recognized me! He said, "Hey! I haven't seen you in such a long time, but it felt like yesterday since I last saw him. " I told him, "I miss your pizza because it is the absolute best pizza in Brooklyn, NY!" It is actually second to none, and I have tried pizza from several pizzerias. Gasper, his workers, and the cooks are all great people. Gasper even prepares the pizza before baking! Not many owners do that nowadays!

Having said that, you should try their pizza. You won't be disappointed, and their entrees are excellent too! It is true Italian pizza the way we had it back in the...

Honestly, one of the grossest things I’ve eaten in the neighborhood. I had two “OK” experiences with this place, so today, I decided to try ordering online for delivery.

Their online menu is incomplete, and I mistook the pie I wanted for something else. I took ownership of that and prayed it wasn’t terrible. It was.

The business called me to confirm the size of the pie, so it got off to a bad start. When I realized she said “Buffalo chicken,” I immediately called her back and said, “listen, I think I put the wrong thing through because the menu appears incomplete. I want a chicken, bacon, ranch.”

She puts me on-hold, angry arguing in the background, and she comes back on the line to tell me it would be an additional fee to change the order they hadn’t even started. I let her know it was the same price and I wasn’t paying a fee.

Well, I got it, and the chicken tasted awful, the pie was doughy, and I threw it in the trash and wrote it off to a bad time. This probably could have been avoided if they just switched my order over to the thing I’d had before and trusted, but here we are. I definitely...

As a guy who LOVES pizza, I’ve gotta say definitely not the “best pizza in bay ridge” way too overpriced, I payed $20 for one slice buffalo chicken one order of cheese sticks and a chicken spinach sandwich. It would’ve been fine but the food wasn’t all too good either , cheese sticks soggy and chewy on the inside, almost like if they where microwaved. The chicken sandwich wasn’t good either all I got was spinach flavor no seasoning, overall no good. The pizza was ok if the buffalo chicken wasn’t so chewy either, why is everything there so chewy and over priced. Now everyone says the customer service is amazing, guess I just go on bad days, bc everyone always has a nasty face. No smile no nothing, like they are being forced to be there. Crazy because every time I go there’s no one so I’d expect to be in and out but somehow the person coming in 5 minutes after me is still leaving before me (yes with a bigger order) just dosent make sense. Overall the box says best pizza in Brooklyn 2020. Time to change the box bro. I could get better cheese sticks and beef patties in the deli across...

Hello everyone , wouldn't recommend this place so much. I ordered chicken parm with ziti. I asked for garlic knots instead of bread, but they suggested we can put the same sauce on the bread, with no charge that didn't happen. I ask to put a gd amount of cheese, that didn't happen. I asked for all condiments, that didn't happen. We really wanted salt and pepper hat didn't vhappen. Bread was rock hard, we don't want by o eat it especially with out the garlic sauce. The only thing that had cheese ND sauce was the chicken. They gave us no forks knives or plates or plastic plates, so we bought u them ourselves. My friends enjoyed there mushroom slices minus the pasta. They weren't even interested. There not really friendly, or genuine. I think there better for pizza. Pasta had no sauce cheese or flavor. The pasta dish was bland. I'm glad I asked for the extra condiments. Won't ever order pasta dishes to expensive and not enough of sauce flavor or cheese. Can't even eat the bread it's so brick hard. Be careful and take your chance. Take care and love u all

SOLID slice, 4 out 5. It’s well balanced from tip to crust and nothing about it is wrong. With that said, for me, it does fall slightly short of just the extra special something. However, there’s enough here to make go in intending to only eat one slice but then immediately returning for a second. This pizzeria deserves its popularity. I saw a guy eating a slice while sitting in what had to be a 70s Lincoln Town Car, so they have a loyal following. I ordered a regular plain slice first, enjoyed it thoroughly, and then returned to try “a square.” The square definitely has a better more buttery crust. I like that the pricing is fair ($3) and they don’t charge extra for squares. I might not travel from Staten Island just to get their pizza, but I would definitely return if in the Brooklyn area.

Late on the night of Sunday, December 18, 2022, my friends and I visited Bay Ridge Pizza after touring Christmas displays in Dyker Heights. Cold, hungry and in one case, unwell, Gaspar (the owner) and Christopher both welcomed us in for an exceptional meal and great experience. At Gaspar's suggestion, we tried the Grandmother Pizza which was nothing short of divine. He and Christopher made us feel like we were at home and had a great conversation with us late into the evening. We would highly recommend both the food and staff at Bay Ridge Pizza, and will definitely visit again!
