The School Photo Company — Attraction in New York

I don't usually write reviews but I had to share this one. My experience was not a great one. I placed an order for pictures on 10/11/22 and I had to follow up (11/17/22) on the order because I didn't receive it. I gave all the information I was asked of and was told it would be mailed out after they were printed. Ok, I took it as an oversight on their part but understood that they may be very busy. December came and still nothing. I went to their office to pick up my photos only to find they had used the wrong pose when I specifically ordered a different one and was missing the class photo. So back to waiting again for these photos. Communication was horrible. I spoke to David several times and emailed back and forth about the wrong pose being printed but he didn't understand what the problem was. I went back to this office in early January and explained it to the person at the office. About a week later I received my package but was still missing the class photo. I spoke to David once again about this class photo and he even verified my address and told me I should receive it in 5-7 business days. It is now March 10, 2023. I think I've been way to patient. This has been a frustrating ordeal. I’ve been dealing with photo issues since October and they still haven’t gotten it together. To any school looking to use this company beware. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

03/16/2023 As for the class picture I finally received it after months of back and forth with this photo company. I should’ve received it with my photo order as it was part of my package that I ordered. I didn’t have to specify that I wanted a class photo. You’re quick to find fault in the costumer but won’t admit someone on your end messed up. I will not be a returning customer and I advise potential customers to stay far away from...

I had a terrible experience with this company. I contacted them with questions before I received pictures and I never could get a straight answer on anything. I received pictures I wasn't happy with ( my daughter's double dimples were photoshopped out) and instead of taking responsibility, they blamed an employee. It was incredibly unprofessional. As an operations professional I know as the owner/manager/company you are responsible for anything leaving your studio, not the employee. It shows poor leadership. I was also informed that the designer (employee) would have to pay for the mistake or potentially be fired. Totally unacceptable. This could have easily been resolved if their communication and customer service skills were better. Then, when I said I would leave a review online, they informed me I would be unable to.... strange, that doesn't appear to be accurate. **Update: Not sure why the companies response was reposted a year later! Your response only reinforces the poor customer service & communication. I stand by my original review. If I'm correct you did the school photos again this year and gave everyone the wrong background. Then had to fix it....

Today my daughter took her school pictures and I will say it was a very long day 📸 (PTA Life) The owner David is amazing with getting the kids to smile and making them feel comfortable with poses (many of them kept saying they were nervous). Nelly was also good with taking full class photos. The only one I can say needs work is Yony he didn’t move as quickly as the other two photographers (elementary school kids are super impatient and become restless very easily as we all know) he took my daughter’s picture with the assistance of Nelly once she finished class photos so I am hoping they come out amazing (fingers crossed🤞🏽will review again once I receive them). One other thing I will say about Yony is when myself and a teacher were trying to help him get a group of kids to smile for sibling photos he told us to be quiet and please stop because he was the photographer (not knowing these children have a few behavioral issues that we knew about) I walked off and one of them blatantly spoke out and said “ Can you hurry up and take the picture already!” 😂 Whelp we tried🤷🏽‍♀️ Hopefully theirs...
