It's a small grass and overgrown lot next to the bay. If I recall this whole area used to be an industrialized area, I think sanitation used to keep Road Salt in this lot? Or the lot next to it, that is now part of NY Tow yards. Well, like most of the lots that used to be in Rockaway, it will most likely get developed? But as of most of the lots that are near the Bay, where badly polluted. Rockaway was the forgotten area of NY. So, some areas around the way have a lot of stores.

It's a public pack that runs from 58th st until 51st with handball court, soft ball field, basketball courts, and a tennis court also being right next to the bay many people come here to fish.... It's clean and in July the heavy mosquito presence frequently keep...
