Probably the worst lounge in terminal 1 that you can experience with priority pass... Yes, it has great windows where you can see star alliance planes parked nearby (air France, Swiss air, Lufthansa)... And yes there are some vegetarian options like hummus (too much cumin and garlic), red cabbage salad (not coleslaw), pasta with tomato sauce... No alcohol, not even beer . One coffee machine and one drip coffee pot .. overcrowded... There was chicken gyro as the only meat option when I was there, but... Horribly dry, overcooked is an understatement... Also good luck getting more than a piece... When they bring a fresh one (also overcooked and very rare occurrence of refreshing), a few line up so fast and fill their plates to the brim that the majority gets nothing... They have Turkish tea machine ... Some soda options along with tiny Poland springs water bottles (like the ones you'd have in car rides to and from the airport)... So, if you can get into other lounges that accept priority pass, go for them... If not, come here.... Also to note .. they don't clean for hours (for two hours I was here, they cleaned only now, way after everyone is gone)... And they took my coffee when I was typing this .. seriously.... So, be warned... Giving three stars because there are some cold...
Read moreI visited the Turkish Airlines Lounge at JFK Terminal 1 and found it to be a surprisingly pleasant place to spend some time before a flight. The large floor-to-ceiling windows make a big difference, flooding the space with natural light and offering excellent views of the tarmac, with ITA Airways and other aircraft parked just outside. Seating is modern and comfortable, and while the lounge can get busy, it still manages to feel more relaxed than the terminal itself.
The food selection was better than I expected for this terminal, with a nice variety of hot and cold options. I especially enjoyed the meze-style dishes—fresh salads, dips, and vegetables—alongside heartier warm plates and a decent choice of desserts. There’s also a good self-serve coffee and tea station, plus soft drinks and juices.
If you have Priority Pass and are flying from Terminal 1, this is in my view the best choice available. The combination of good views, decent food, and a calmer environment makes it a far more enjoyable place to wait than the other options in...

In contrast to the perception of quality we see in the advertisements of Turkish airlines, you are greeted with a very mediocre service. The lounge, which promises high quality at the entrance, is a disappointment inside... it is very crowded. Seats are very close to each other. There are 8 types of food including salad. In a place that serves approximately 10-12 airlines and where you can enter as gold/elite, the quality should not be so low. Even business class is waiting in line in the same lounge. The lack of alcohol in an international lounge is even more surprising. They could spend less on advertising and improve...
