I can't even begin to express how much UpDog Studios has changed my life. From the moment I stepped through the door, I felt welcomed, supported, and energized. Nicole, the owner, is an absolute ray of light—her positive energy and passion for fitness are truly infectious. She has created not just a studio, but a sanctuary where people can come to feel their best, both physically and mentally.
The studio itself is a peaceful & clean haven, with an atmosphere that encourages growth, strength, and confidence. It’s a safe space where you can push yourself without fear of judgment. Everyone roots and supports each other in their journeys.
The instructors are all incredible, each bringing their own unique style and energy to every class. No matter which class I take, I always leave feeling stronger, more aligned, and more in tune with my body.
Thanks to the amazing team and the transformative Yoga & Pilates practices at UpDog, I am in the best shape of my life—physically, mentally, emotionally & spiritually. I truly feel stronger and more empowered every class I take.
If you're looking for a place that not only helps you achieve your fitness goals but also uplifts you in every way, this is the studio for you. I can’t...
Read moreAfter the pandemic, it was really hard to find a new yoga studio that I trusted, felt pushed as a practitioner, and also felt at home. UpDog studios does a great job of making students feel at home with their membership perks (storing your personal mat🙏🏻), really helpful on hand toiletries in the bathrooms, and new mats to rent (Manduka brand). There are also plenty room to store your things in cubbies and wall hooks.
The space is open and it’s always great to take an early morning class with the light from the many full length windows or an evening class with all the candles and low lighting that really creates a vibe. ✨
The owner teaches an excellent level 2 vinyasa flow on Thursday nights at 6:15 p.m. (make sure to get there early as the class can get busy) and you’re always guaranteed to be challenged and also play with different arm balances or more spicy asanas. Also you may also dance in your downward facing dog due to the playlists. 🎶
Highly recommend taking a class if you’re looking for a accessible and fun yoga or Pilates class and signing up for a membership if you...
Read moreSo honestly the studio is a nice upstairs studio. Clean and full of windows. Just be careful of what teacher you may get. I am fully aware that by being a musician I am very sensitive to energy evokes by sound and music. I will never be able to relax with alternative rock with a heavy beat and fast rhythms playing softly or loud when trying to relax and do yoga or meditate. After having done yoga in Costa Rica and beautiful studios in Seattle and other places in New York, the vibe with this teacher and her music selection was nothing relaxing. It was more stressful than relaxing. There is true science about connections of sound, spirit, health and healing so when the balance does not meet each other, it works against each other. The experience was disconnecting and I never knew alternative rock could be played during a yoga class. It's...
