This Walgreens store at 1551 Richmond Ave is the worst, the pharmacy manager was supposed to check my order that was delivered to me from FedEx. This happens to be the first time I did delivery service, I am a just disabled person and it’s hard for me to get around. I got 1 out of my 2 prescriptions the nasal spray that I paid for was missing, I did not receive it at all. On Saturday, March 13th I called the store and was told the pharmacy manager would call me on Monday after she reviewed the tapes. At first it made me feel like I stole something but after thinking about that I’m fine, I am sure it happens to them all the time. I informed the young lady on Saturday please make sure she calls me on Monday so I can come and pick up my nasal spray that I paid $18 and change, my insurance paid for the rest. It is a prescription I just can’t go buy it somewhere else and I’ve been dealing with this pharmacy for a long time. Monday I’m waiting for the phone call from the manager of the pharmacy to tell me to come and pick up my prescription the nasal spray. I get no phone call at all on Monday, Tuesday morning (today) I called the store again after being on hold for 30 minutes again the girl gets on the phone and tells me that the manager will review it today and get back to me on Wednesday. I’m out of the prescription nasal spray, this is absolutely ridiculous now I am out of my medication. I told the young lady on the phone to tell the pharmacist manager that I’m calling corporate customer service. I called customer service and I was on hold for 32 minutes no one ever picked up after hearing the recording every five seconds telling me how sorry they are instead of hiring more people to take care of upset customers. Obviously Walgreens has enough business and doesn’t need anymore. I am now transferring all my prescriptions over to CVS which by the way Walgreen made a ton of money on my prescriptions every month. I do not blame the young ladies that answered the phone they were just relaying a message, however I do blame the pharmacy manager and corporate customer service. All they keep saying on the phone is that they are sorry. You know what, I’m tired of hearing that you’re sorry try picking answering the phone call. I don’t understand what happened, Walgreen‘s was the place to go for a great customer service now they are the WORST. Also instead of saying you’re sorry try hiring more people I hear there’s plenty of opportunities in the job market why don’t you help out Wallgreen’s instead of stealing my money. I would like the district manager for this location to call me or someone from corporate because I’m not going to sit on the phone...
Read moreVery terrible service ..The CVS on Richmond Avenue closed down and the Rite Aid pharmacy closed down and we ended up with this Walgreen. Terrible service pharmacy. Ever since Rite Aid close and CVS, there’s not one time this Walgreen ever had any prescriptions ready on time , I called them up days before they tell me they will have it ready and 30 to 45 minutes , and when I go to pick it up, they tell me the pharmacist is working on it can you come back tonight I tell them OK I come back at night and they tell me it’s not available call in the morning I call in the morning. They tell me 9 o’clock it will be ready. 930. I go back to the store and they tell me it will be ready in a half an hour, I come back at 12 o’clock afternoon. They told me do you wanna wait 15 minutes it will be ready. The pharmacist is working on it. I come back two hours later the pharmacist says I don’t have it already. I asked him. How can you not have it ready? This is the fourth time I’m coming and your staff told me it was gonna be ready , so the pharmacist is response as well. You haven’t spoke to me so I don’t have them ready if you want them you’re gonna have to wait until I take the rest of the customers and I’ll let you know when it’s ready., they waste so much time here in Walgreen and after they waste all your time, they either tell you oh I’m sorry but I’m still waiting for authorization or we are out of stock. It takes them forever to get a prescription done. and when you are the first person online, a huge long line behind you and it takes him forever just to take one customer and imagine how they have to tell every single customer you wanna wait 15-20 minutes. Your prescription is not ready. They’re working on it and then they have to take forever for every customer to explain why it didn’t go through this place is very unprofessional , I can’t recommend it to anyone, every other PHARMACY that I’ve been through never gave me this type of difficulty and they would have the prescription one day before it’s due with no issue and always on time . Walgreen staff and pharmacist didn’t even review the directions and asked me if I have any questions about these two different injections that were prescribed to me that I never took and don’t know where to put them or whether the doctor has to inject them because I’m on several medications and get confused when reading the directions With all these control substance and I’m still not sure I forget how my doctor direct me how to take them because I have so many...
Read moreI came to Walgreens to pick up my medicines after the doctor confirmed that soon he's gonna inform them. The assistant pharmacist was checking my name and said the message for releasing my drugs hasn't come yet, and it will take "hours" to come. It was bit of a frustrating answer, and I felt that it won't take that long. So I roamed around in the store a bit, and 15 minutes later, I checked with an assistant named xxxx again. He checked the system and gave me a sign that the details were already there and said, "Sit and wait", so I waited. In 5 minutes, he called me up using hand gesture and said that they received my prescription, but it's all to be paid. (I'm already covered by insurance) I asked him what the medicines were, and he said it, Claritin, and a nasal spray. To make sure I asked him once more, do I have to pay for them both?. He confirmed it. During all these conversations, he wasn't showing any amount of respect. He was disrespectful. But I took his words. I went out and bought medicines out of my pocket. In the next 10 minutes, I got a call again from Walgreens and said, "Come and pick up my medicines." I said that this person informed me that I had to buy them so I bought from outside. So the person who called me said that she doesn't know about it but my medicine (the nasal spray ) was there to be picked up and it was covered by the insurance. I'm reporting this to their superiors to let them know that they should really train their staff to be professional. Also, the staff should be knowledgeable and have some respect for the sick people who come and ask for their help. The rest assured that I will never go to this Walgreens again and direct my medicines to...
