I had an interesting experiencing with Woodward Gallery… I attempted to buy a piece of art from the gallery through Artsy, but there was an inventory error, and I wasn’t able to buy the piece… Woodward Gallery generously offered me a substantial credit towards buying something else… Which I immediately took advantage of… I had personal communication with the owner through a phone call… I am extremely impressed with the personal attention I received, the desire for making things right and building a long-term relationship, and of course, the amazing quality of the art that is being offered through this New York City institution! The Woodward Gallery is, in my experience, the go-to Gallery for contemporary art. The owners, John and Kristine Woodward, are incredibly knowledgeable about the art and artists they represent. The range of art styles they have in the gallery is extensive, so the gallery has work to satisfy anyone interested in having art in their home and /or office. The gallery’s prices are fair, and the attention the Woodwards give their clients is wonderful; people who are just starting to collect art get as much attention as long-standing knowledgeable collectors.
