The Woodward Gallery is an absolute gem in NYC’s art scene. Specializing in contemporary and street art, the space features an exciting mix of bold, thought-provoking works that captivate both seasoned collectors and casual art lovers. One of the standout aspects is its deep connection to Richard Hambleton, the elusive “Shadowman” whose legacy lives on through the gallery's dedication and involvement in the Shadowman documentary on Prime Video.
Owners Kristine and John Woodward are exceptional hosts: warm, incredibly knowledgeable, and deeply passionate about the art world. Their insights into both the exhibits and the broader cultural landscape were invaluable, and they even shared some fantastic local hidden gems that made our visit even more memorable.

They shipped the art to me with expedited service and it was the best packing job I had ever seen. I highly recommend doing business with...
Read moreThe Woodward Gallery is, in my experience, the go-to Gallery for contemporary art. The owners, John and Kristine Woodward, are incredibly knowledgeable about the art and artists they represent. The range of art styles they have in the gallery is extensive, so the gallery has work to satisfy anyone interested in having art in their home and /or office. The gallery’s prices are fair, and the attention the Woodwards give their clients is wonderful; people who are just starting to collect art get as much attention as long-standing knowledgeable collectors.
I am happy to give the Woodward Gallery a 5-star review. I’m only sorry I can’t...
