XpresSpa - Recovery — Attraction in New York

Received a wonderful and much needed massage of my neck, shoulders, arms and back. I did need to wait for a moment while a therapist came from another location in the airport, but that was much preferred than if they asked me to walk to his location. I was put in one of the massage chairs for no charge while I waited which probably helped to loosen my back a bit. Then they took the time to ask me what I was looking for in terms of location on my body and desired pressure. The massage chair was very comfortable to sit in and was able to be adjusted for my body since I'm a bigger guy. I requested firm pressure and it's exactly what I received. I came by several times and asked for a massage. The lady told me to wait and try to send me to another worker. So I left then I came back maybe it was the wrong time in. I come back and ask for a back and neck massage, she looks around and tries to send me to another woman to get a foot massage. So I left again I came back, and she tried to send me to another worker while the other worker was already giving someone a massage. Then I left and came back and she is working on someone who she chooses to work on. I gave two stars instead of one because I don’t know how the massages all because I never received one, but they do pick and choose who they decide to give a massage too. Just left the XpresSpa at Terminal 4 across from gate B25. Awesome service albeit a bit expensive. Elizabeth did a classic pedicure for me which cost me $60. My nails look great! It was a little odd that they didn’t use the foot bath but I feel like it was a fairly normal pedicure. The foot and leg massage was so good, I asked for another 15 minutes. They were having a special with 2x 15 min massages (any type) for $70 so I opted for the leg and foot massage and a neck and shoulder chair massage. Candice did my neck and shoulder massage. If you are into deep tissue and trigger point therapy, this is your woman! She really got out the knots; better than my massage therapist at home in half the time.
