Gateway Group One — Local services in Newark

Gateway Security One provides security for the Liberty State Park parking lot for the light rail station. I unfortunately made a mistake by rushing to work this morning and I accidentally left my lights on as it was raining. When I finished work, upon finding out that I accidentally left the lights on, I kindly asked the security guard for a jump. Security guard informs me: “its against company policy to give you a jump.”

The parking lot is practically empty and this heartless, mindless, drone of a security guard goes around in circles and circles watching me type a negative review about the stupid company that he works for; instead of just spending a few minutes and giving my car a quick jump.

Being a former security guard, I know that a guard’s duty is to “protect life & property” so what happened if there was an emergency involving family and I was needed to be somewhere — and because the security guard in an automobile doesn’t give my car a jump — I can’t be where I am needed to be? That is not protecting life. What happens if I have diabetes and I need insulin but don’t have it? Have to go home and can’t get home? I would die, because of Gateway One’s STUPID POLICY of not providing a jump to someone who needed it.

Your company is terrible, your employees are terrible, your business model is terrible. I would give this company ZERO STARS if possible. And I will put the word out that this company could seriously hurt someone, because no one knows how to be a decent...
