We just talked about the photo size, the difference size between American one and Chinese one. I never asked for other specifications. I downloaded and uploaded the original directly that you sent me. I didn't use the American passport photo version . It's not because of the specifications or crops. It's because of the poor quality of the photo. The hair part is blurry …the photo format is resulting in low resolution, blurring, and lack of clarity.

Please upload the original portrait photo in the window of "Photo" or "Supplementary Documents Required by the Embassy after the Preliminary Examination" in the app. You can also use the shooting function of the app to take a picture of your portrait. I dropped off a veteran photo of my father in law to be colorized and made into a 4x6 to surprise my husband and place in a frame with his flag and various medals. I dropped off the photo on a Thursday and was told that it should be ready by the following Mon/Tuesday at the latest. Today is Friday- a little over a week from when I dropped off the photo. I just returned from the store to pick up the finished photo and it hadn't even been touched yet. The older gentlemen that was there was apologetic, but unfortunately I asked for my photo back because that's just not good business. I would have appreciated a call to inform it was not ready.
