We played Da Vinci’s test.
The room was spacious and well-crafted, with meticulous attention to detail. Unlike other escape rooms that rely heavily only on standard locks you find at Walmart, this room featured sophisticated puzzles that truly challenged the mind. The props provided were of the highest quality and completely unique, adding an extra layer of intrigue. Having visited numerous escape rooms in the past that were unpleasantly grimy and sticky, I often hesitated to touch anything. In contrast, this room exuded cleanliness and freshness, making it a joy to explore and solve puzzles. Additionally, the air conditioning was refreshingly strong, ensuring a comfortable and pleasant atmosphere throughout the entire experience.
Our game master was awesome, she was totally in character.
I highly recommend this escape room and eagerly look forward to returning one day to try out their other room.
Tip: I don’t think you need to ask for hints for this room. We did because we aren’t very good but then ended up solving the room in 35 mins. We should have tried to figure it out ourselves because we had so much...
Read moreOk, so I am just going to say this. If you do visit Newport or just are an all year round resident, you should try the escape room. I personally did not participate of the game, I took a group of teens to celebrate a birthday girl and they LOVED it. While I waited for the girls, All I heard was screams inside and a lot of giggling going on.
The host Jeff is by far the most amazingly nicest person. From the moment the doors opened he makes you feel welcomed and engaged to want to play the game. He was very attentive and always reassuring me the kids were ok inside. The experience the girls had just has me intrigued to schedule a game for me to play.
There are two games on this location and the one the kids participated in was “The Kings Tomb”. So just from the smiles and the excitement of the kids I can say this is one to place on your list of things to...
Read moreI've done many, many escape rooms in several cities and this one was not one of my favorites. We got out in 24 minutes and for my crowd that was way to easy. The room is too dark. They do turn on the lights upon request and they do warn you it is dark beforehand but why? I just don't get who can see in that darkness unless you are a cat. It's not like they give you a light or something. We did the DaVinci one and the props were high quality. However, aside from one clue, there were no written clues to decipher. Additionally, we kept getting hints from the watcher without us asking. I felt like I wasn't being given time to think the puzzle through. I mean we have an hour... what was the rush? I felt it was not worth the money. Also, there was a tip option. I have never been asked if I wanted to tip. Won't be...
