What really stands out for us, especially compared to our experiences in Switzerland, is the exceptional service and the wonderful staff. The food consistently arrived on time, and the attentive waiters struck the perfect balance between attentiveness and giving us space to enjoy our meal. Speaking of the food, it's simply fantastic! As fans of Mediterranean and Italian cuisine, we were thrilled with the restaurant's diverse and mouthwatering selection. We even took some pictures of the incredibly delicious dishes to remember the experience. On one of our visits, we were warmly greeted by a friendly hostess who, surprisingly, spoke perfect Swiss German; apparently, she had lived in Switzerland and had mastered our unique language. Her helpfulness made us feel right at home and added a special touch to our dining experience. In addition to the restaurant's inviting ambiance and excellent service, we were pleased to find convenient parking, making our visits even more enjoyable. We also couldn't resist trying their pizza delivery service and were not disappointed. The pizzas arrived promptly, straight from the oven, and were deliciously warm and fresh. I have gone to this place for over 30 years..today is the first time it was absolutely terrible. Last year I thought maybe they were having a bad day, perhaps. However, today was horrendous. Simply put, we waited for almost 40 minutes for someone to acknowledge us and offer to take a drink order. No problem, because sometimes people are busy. Except, they weren’t really busy. 4 tables full, that’s it. The busser finally offered to take our order…45 minutes after that (yes, an hour and a half for pizza and salad), she came and said they messed up our pizza and only had half the order. That was fine, because mistakes happen. We opted for a lighter lunch. We didn’t get plates. Waited over 5 minutes and I got up and approached the front area where the “hostess” was standing and chatting loosely, with a blatant disregard for customers around her. I asked for the plates and she gave me a snide smirk. At this point, my family was hungry and I just had to get them going. When we were ready to leave, I asked the same woman for my check, being that no one approached us with it. She rolled her eyes and said she needed to look for it. I asked her then if the place had recently changed owners. She mumbled no and they’ve been there over 40 years. Well, this is not the same place I’ve visited every summer. Not at all. After I asked her, my children approached the busser and made sure to give her a tip directly. When we left, the same hostess gave another smirk. Sad to say I will never go back to place that was a tradition...
