the prices are great, BUT shoutout to wonderland for terrible service!đ we showed them our tickets and asked where to go as we had never been there before. there were 2 theaters for our movie- one in the front (1) and one on the COMPLETE opposite end of the hallway (6), (literally the two furthest rooms apart), and the employee says âthe sign is gonna look like this front one, but youâre at the one all the way at the endâ and points down the hallway (not the room right next to him). 10 minutes into the movie , a mom and her kids came in with the SAME seat tickets. eventually we all got it figured out he sent us to the WRONG movie showing/room, and they told us we could go join the movie that was already 30 MINUTES into the movie, or refund the tickets. letâs also note, we bought tickets for Oppenheimer also for RIGHT after the first movie. the lady was nothing but passive aggressive and rude the whole time because we refunded the tickets. when we asked for oppenheimer to be refunded too she asked why we werenât going to see that one now either, to which we said âwell we drove a half hour to get here, what are we gonna do for the next three hours? kinda ruins the pointâ and she UNIRONICALLY said, âi drove a half hour to work today, itâs not that badâ . fuuuuck you guys, that is terrible customer service with zero understanding. we literally just asked to either sit in the front seats that were OPEN bc there were multiple available seats and the movie had already started, or to refund it because of the way we timed it and planned it so we didnât miss a chunk of the movie and got this bs in response. we werenât even upset, we understood it was just a mistake the worker made until...
Read moreStill our favorite place to go see movies and has been since we moved into the area 2 years ago. It has a retro feel so the seats donât recline and arenât heated or cooled like a lot of newer theaters. But they are cushioned and comfortable and the armrests fold up to allow cuddling.
We always sit in the 4 or 5th row and it is assigned seating. We order an extra seat on each side of us for a buffer because one of our seats got taken up before and for elbow room sake, not to mention we can put extra sweaters and coats there if needed. The tickets are cheap enough that itâs not a huge expense getting extra. The prices on snacks are very affordable too, although I donât get the popcorn anymore because I had too many run ins with stale kernels that hurt my teeth. We can easily get snacks and drinks for everyone and not feel like we spent a fortune. For a while we went too frequently so I felt like there could be more variety of snacks. But they have plenty of variety I just got picky and had the same stuff too many times.
Parking is free but can be tough to find a spot on opening nights or when there are events in Niles nearby. We have seen many movies here in the last 2 years and only once had an issue with another movie goer. Actually it was 2 people. One guy was heckling the movie but thankfully didnât escalate and ruin it, just got a little annoying at one point. The other guy fell asleep during the same movie and was snoring đ´ loudly.
Considering how many opening weekends we have been to, itâs amazing only one got so...
Read moreWent to the 12:30 show today July 6th and brought my popcorn bucket which I filled for the show I get down to almost the bottom of my bucket during the show and pulled out a piece of square material that resembled 3x3.5 in makeup remover, or the pad under fresh meat when it comes packaged. It was about 1/4â thick and had obsorbed the popcorn butter. I walked out of the theater to see what it was I had in my hand and headed to the concession counter and showed it to the girl. She wasnât sure what it was and put it on some paper towel and said she needed to get the manager. A short woman with blond hair came out a few minutes later without the object and says we donât use anything like that and doesnât know what it is and she looks in my almost empty popcorn bucket. She then kind of smirks and said at least you didnât have to pay for the popcorn since itâs Thursday and proceeds to tell me to feel free to get a refill 𤎠I said, yeah I don't think so and grab some napkins to wipe out the bucket and went back in the theater. Whatever this was, and it was disgusting, came out of the popcorn dispenser. There was no apology or any type of compensation offered. Would an apology and/or an offer of a free $1 bucket of popcorn or something been too much to expect? Very disappointed in the lack of customer service. Have always enjoyed coming to this theater and the reasonable prices. Guess I got what...
