I utilized their balloon bar and it’s a complete waste of money, avoid it. I understand that I used my own balloons and they can’t control the quality of said balloons (not that they can control the ones in store either). But I also want to be clear no one said a word to me about it potentially being an issue when I got them inflated. I haven’t even had these balloons six hours and half are already on the ground, no longer floating. That’s not normal. (I’ve used these balloons before and never had an issue.) So I called the store and the associate that answered was so unhelpful and honestly pretty rude. Didn’t offer to make it right or offer any solutions, just said I was out of luck. I would’ve been willing to try different balloons or come in tomorrow so they could have made it right. Like $40 just to inflate balloons is expensive. I was walking up to checkout my items, and a kiosk had just opened. A customer had JUST left the register as I approached. I walk up, and the lady behind the register gave me a very rude look. I asked "Oh! Is it okay to checkout here?" She looks at me, scoffs, and in an extremely condescending tone goes "Well, that's clearly not my job right now." Then, she begins to yell at what seems to be another employee behind the desk about a. situation that must have happened earlier int the day.

Read moreI had a terrible experience at this location due to an extremely rude cashier, Lisa (if I got her name right). I arrived at the register right at 9:00 PM, and there was no announcement about the store closing. She had already shut down the register and flat-out refused to ring me up, despite the fact that I was standing right there on time.
Instead of handling the situation with even a basic level of courtesy, she was snappy, dismissive, and clearly couldn’t care less about helping a customer. The way she spoke to me was completely unprofessional and unnecessary.
I get that stores close at a certain time — but rudeness is never justified, especially when a customer is still within hours. If this is how Michaels trains staff to treat people, I’ll think twice...
