Edit: I purchased three items online. One item was ready for pick-up quickly, and the others said ship to store in 7 - 9 days. Versus driving forty minutes twice each way I would wait for my other items to arrive. I wait until they arrive only to receive an out of stock notification on an item I had shipped to the store or whatnot on the first item. No I do not want to be refunded for the item. I want the item I paid for that was being held in store. Dishonest policy as this has happened on a few orders now. Note: This used to be a five star review. Another note on shipping items through DULUTH website. OnTrac is the worst delivery service anyone could ever use. Non-professional everyday people driving their personal car or minivan. They will leave the package anywhere and anytime. Expect a 3:15am past due package that says out for delivery by 6pm. Or they lay a package out front of a closed business door no matter the location Monday - Sunday and even on some holidays. I use to be the most loyal Duluth customer spending thousands of hard earned money.
Original Review: I love this place and they have some of the nicest clothing materials I have ever worn. This is the only location in Indiana and I drive out of my way to stop at this store from time to time. The staff is always very helpful and knows right where to find the correct size. I had talked to many people at checkout over time. I had met April and Corky the past few times, they had been super helpful, and both left a good impression. Please note that the sizing is normally great for any size or body type, but every once in a while you will need to try certain items down one size. I enjoy being able to order Tall version of shirts as XLT or XXLT. This on top of making the best clothing every makes it a no brainer for most men. I will also note that I am always outdoors but I hate blue jean materials. They have some many options that I never knew existed and only wear Duluth Trading Company pants daily. Another favorite item: Despite the looks of it the Ushanka Fur Trapper Hat is so warm, even when the winter dives into the coldest of temperatures. The online store is also easy to navigate. Read moreTerrible management. I would assume the male egotistical jerk yelling at me from the middle of the store was what he considered “in charge”. We arrived at the store (my husband , son and I) and we looked everywhere upon entry and saw no signs for holiday hours. Whew! So I thought.
I was excited at the sales and the variety. Many women approached and were so amazing and helpful! (If this was based on them…. 5 stars.)
However, this male, announces that we are to “bring our items to pay because they closed 4 minutes ago.” I asked if I could try on a couple things and he said “no, we are closed. Bring your purchases to the counter.” (I probably had 20-25 items at least, so I was trying decide if I really wanted everything I had in my husbands and my arms; I did not want to buy something from being pressured.) He then screams out again, “ma’am (speaking to me directly) bring your purchases to the counter Now”. That made my decision. I took it all to him and walked out the door. Sad part is, We were in our car by 5:07.
I have owned a retail store, I would fire anyone on the spot who treated a customer with such arrogance, disrespect and rudeness. I also understand when you’re ready to go home. But, a customer is how the bills get paid. He could have handled this whole situation differently; with tact, cuth and professionalism. Shame on him.
Not sure I will ever buy from Duluth again. Disappointed, humiliated, and mad at the way this was handled. So, I spent my money elsewhere.
Just broke the news to my best friend that when we go down to Indianapolis in 1 month, I will NOT be stopping there anytime...
Read moreI cannot begin to express how frustrated I am with this company. I realize they may have good products but their customer service is the worst I've ever seen in my life. I ordered something for my son's birthday. When I went to check my order something had glitched because it wasn't showing it on my profile that I had an order. So I called a couple of different numbers for customer service wasted over 3 hours of my life in between those numbers and the actual store locations. Which by the way, the branch down by Indy that woman has no place answering the phone. She did not apologize for anything that was happening for any inconveniences and was rude. I'm not saying that because I'm upset about this. I'm saying that because she was rude and treated me like it didn't matter what I had going on. Like she couldn't get off the phone quick enough or that I was doing something wrong. And ultimately that I just needed to understand there was nothing she could do. My order was then canceled. For whatever reason the money refunded. No email explaining anything so I got on there and ordered it again. I just looked at my account and I had a double payment pulled and yet again spend more than an hour on the phone and more than a half hour trying to get through to somebody with their online chat. After waiting, it pops up a message that the service was unavailable. Combined I have over 5 hours of My time wasted with the customer service of this company and I'm still not knowing what is going on with my money or...
