Where do I even begin. I have been thinking about how bad this restaurant is for a couple days now. Lets start with the chips and salsa. “would you like some chips and salsa?” I’m pretty well traveled and when you’re asked that at a Hispanic/Mexican/Taco restaurant that usually means they’re complimentary. No big deal I think businesses should charge for what they serve, but the salsa was $3.15 which isn’t a crime itself but when you consider that it’s canned tomato with a few canned jalapenos added in that’s a robbery. I’m sure they’ll respond about how it is hand made every day. It’s not. It’s canned crushed tomatoes and no salt. I would have rather had ketchup on chips… The chips were slightly stale, not fully stale but they definitely had lost their crunch and were very unsatisfying. Moving on to the Margarita. I opted for their regular margarita but with mezcal instead of tequila which made it a $19 margarita. Also not a big deal I picked out the mezcal I knew it would be a little pricy. I knew I was in trouble when the soda gun was an ingredient in the margarita. A margarita doesn’t have soda or soda water in it at all. That’s probably why it tasted like mezcal mixed with water. I’m guessing they do that to make it “topped up” in the pint glass. That’s Wisconsin dive bar activities when the bartender doesn’t know how to make a margarita and you caught them off guard asking for one. I’ve had worse margaritas, but actually only in Wisconsin at a dive bar. Then we get to the tacos. These are the worst tacos I have seen in my entire life. No hyperbole. They were SAD. The “homemade” chorizo is ground pork and cinnamon. Not a hint of cinnamon like chorizo should have but quite a bit of it, enough to make it taste like Christmas. Their asada looked like the chunks from canned dog food. I got cilantro and onion on mine; there was about 1 leaf of cilantro chopped up between the two tacos I got. I couldn’t make a taco that bad if I tried. You would have to treat me like Shelley Duvall on the set of the shining to do them that bad. It would take 100+ tries of yelling at me do it again but worse to get something as sad, depressing, and deplorable as what was put in front of me and called tacos. I would be embarrassed to have handed those to someone. Now they might ask why I didn’t say anything while I was there. Why would I. To get a fake we’re sorry. If they were sorry they would have done a better job in the first place. I saw 2500 reviews and 4.8 stars. And while I know reviews don’t really mean much it did seem like a good option in the area. I’m thoroughly convinced that they either purchased positive reviews, or the entire town is made out people that get excited for Applebee’s and consider it the best thing they ever had. Come to think of it, Applebee’s would do a better job at everything Condado does. The bill for a mezcal margarita, 2 tacos, and a side of salsa. $35.20 before tip. Mind you the asada taco you see in the pictures by itself is $4.45 + $1.25 for the asada upgrade. A $5.70 taco, one taco that looks sadder than anything that’s ever left a Taco Bell. What's with the tinfoil cocoon around each individual taco?
This is easily the worst restaurant I’ve been to in the last 5 years. Congratulations, you did so bad I will remember it for the rest of my life. Condado tacos in Noblesville is the new low and I’ve had Burger King before.
And just so it’s not all negative the bartender seemed like a...
Read moreI ate here for the first time in August and returned the next weekend with my husband and best friend to introduce them to the awesomeness of Condado.
They had the overhead doors open, sun was shining (bring shades if the brightness bothers you) and it was a perfect atmosphere booster!
My friend and I had Margarita flights that were very tasty! I had blackberry, blood orange and prickly pear. The prickly pear was my favorite!
We ordered starters : Beans, Rice, Queso & Street corn. Beans: Delicious!!! Spicy 🔥 but delicious. Like mouth on fire for a while spicy. We mixed in some of the rice and queso with the beans and it was very good!
Rice: Not a ton of flavor on its own. Would maybe skip in the future.
Queso: We ordered the plain Jane white queso, to get a feel for the goodness of the queso. Definitely want to try the other flavors because the plain Jane is on point!
Street Corn: So I love authentic Mexican street corn and this is not that. It's their take on it, it's still good, but it wasn't my favorite.
We all ordered tacos for the main event. The first time I went I had the nachos and those were delicious! Highly recommend! The tacos are very delicious as well! They are larger in size and not skimpy with the contents. I ordered two tacos. One of them being Blue Dream and the other, The Heater. Both of them were delicious! My husband and my best friend also very much enjoyed their tacos.
This place is different, the atmosphere is unique, and if you're looking for something in between authentic and Tex Mex, this is it! There's so much flavor, and the mix of flavors that are put together to create the combinations were very well thought out.
Also, the service was very fast, our server was super friendly and very attentive. 10 out of 10. Would recommend giving this place a try! I know there are some negative reviews in the comments for this place, I would just go have your own experience and leave the expectations at the door, And let it be what it's meant to be. If you want cheap tacos with basic toppings and little to no fireworks for your taste buds, this is not the place for you! But if you enjoy food, good atmospheres and things that aren't all the same, this...
Read moreI have ordered 2x from Condado's. The first order was via Uber eats-Delivery. The food was great, no issues.
My second order was via Uber eats- Pick Up. I entered the establishment, and there was a sign saying, 'Please wait o be seated." So I stood by the door waiting for someone. There weren't many patrons, and there were 3 employees standing at an empty bar laughing and chatting.
I politely approached the bar, and the bartender looked up and asked how he could help me. I let him know that I had placed a pick-up order. He pointed by the door where I had been standing and said it would be over there. I said, "Okay, thank you.
I then went back to wait by the door and continued waiting while watching an employee B lined in the opposite direction.
(Ironically, as I am writing this, the same two employees just emerged from the rear/side of the building, putting out their cigarettes.
The bartender comes up to the front kiosk afterwards saying, oh sorry I thought she was coming up here. I got my food and left. To write this review.
In the time it has taken me to type this (appx 4-5min), 3 customers have entered and exited with pick-up orders in a fraction of the time.
If I were a different ethnicity, I would continue to go there, as I believe I would have been treated better.
I am pretty disappointed because I was happy that I found a place that had the healthy alternatives I've been looking for.
I am sure there are others in the area.
I do not recommend this place...
