We went in at 8:00 pm to stretch our legs and get the children a little treat for their patients through three hours of the five and a half hour road trip. We ordered to go but intended to eat most of the items there. Upon being informed that the order was ready we picked it up at the window that they had placed it. I noticed that they had not provided a cup for the iced coffee so we remained at the window in full view of the employees. After two minutes of being ignored I got an employee to come over and pointed out their oversight. She apologized and gave me a cup. As we began to take our food out of the bag we noticed only one of the two brownies that my boys ordered was provided. We returned to the counter and the lady said that they ran out of brownies and she apologized for not informing us - even though we were charged for it. They graciously offered to allow my son to choose a replacement dessert. I suspect that they didn't mention it because they figured it was a to-go order and getting close to closing time. I was annoyed. My youngest daughter started eating her turkey bacon avocado sandwich and asked my oldest daughter if there was supposed to be avocado on it! Once again we were back up to the counter where we were the lady apologized for not telling us that they were out of avocado. At this point the manager (probably a 24 year old young lady) come out apologizing and offering a dessert as compensation. When I informed her that my daughter is a type 1 diabetic and we preferred the healthy fats over sugar she went to check about the avocado. She returned and apologized saying that there were no "sliced" avocado. She offered to give us a whole other meal which I declined as I fully intended to share this miserable experience to warn others that order a to-go meal from this...
Read moreTypical Panera. Great food and new items as well. The rest is awful: It took a good 30 minutes to make out food. Others came in after us, ordered, ate and left before we received our food. They clearly focus on the drive through pickup. If you are pressed for time, skip this Panera. They were unapologetic. I guess I should have left them a tip for doing their jobs. The restaurant is filthy. The carpeted floor has not seen a vacuum in a very long time especially under the tables. Food, paper products, cobwebs are all quite disgusting. One employee wiped a table next to us depositing the crumbs onto the floor. He was bare handed using a cleaner and a rag. I next saw him helping in the kitchen putting food containers together... with his bare hands. The women's restroom was worst than filthy AND there was no paper. You should bring your own I guess. This was reported to me, not first hand. I have been in cleaner truck stops than the Men's restroom. Plenty of pubic hair in the urinal which has not seen a brush in a long time. Urine mixed with crumbs and paper products on the floor. The sink was unbelievably filthy but had a nice sign to remind employees to was their hands. Interestingly, the sink was dry meaning... bare handed employee probably went from cleaning tables to the kitchen directly. Maybe not, just a guess.
It is too bad the management here is absent or simply could care less. Panera food is excellent but this place needs a good scrubbing and some hygiene lessons. Maybe Noblesville could send...
Read moreWe frequent several Panera locations. We greatly enjoy our experiences at most of them. We have given this location multiple chances at varying times of the week or year. It is sadly the worst location. No matter the season the interior is so freezing cold you don't want to stay. This causes any hot food or drinks that you order to be too cold to eat within a couple minutes of receiving it. I enjoy being able to order from the kiosk because most of the time if you order from an employee here they will get the order wrong. Even if you have questions there are no employees up front to help. Bagels are always burned. They do not heat up cold bakery items for dine in without asking them after receiving it and then they act like it is a big deal to do it and tell you to use the microwave. I have entered my own order, retrieved my own order, and heated my own order and they have the audacity to ask for a tip? For what? They are not good at anticipating the crowd because they run out of popular bakery items very early in the day. The music is so loud that you cannot hear when your order is ready. The coffee station is frequently out of half and half, hot water for tea, and honey. The employees are very big on doing the bare minimum. The staff also do not communicate well with customers. Would love to see some changes. Very disappointed, Take some notes from the Anderson, Lawrence, and Fishers locations. Excellent service there, hot food, and tolerable ambient...
