A long beach of white sand for many miles. Great for tanning, close to places where you can find something to eat such as kentucky fried chicken, burger King, taco Bell and dominoes.
Not sure how this place only has 3.5 stars when it's closer to a 4.5 - but I digress. The two times I've sat down for lunch here have been delicious. Particularly:
To drink: order the Chicha Moradan -- basically an iced refresher made of peruvian purple corn, cinnamon cloves, and fresh lime juice -- as addicting as iced tea.
Admittedly, the sight of octopus tentacles gives me the heebie jeebies, but after a bite of the tender and flavorful meat, I couldn't wait to finish the whole thing. The grill on the octopus was just right -- a teeny bit chewy, but it added a bite to the otherwise tender, savory grill rather than take away from it. Also, the accompanying chimichurri and anticuchera sauce went incredibly with the flavors.
FAVORITE - Must try! Rissoto a Ia Huancaina con Lomo Saltado aka Creamy, cheesy parmesan Huancaina risotto paired with Lomo Saltado, where the beef was absolutely perfect and marinated so well with the sauce pooling to the side of the risotto. i honestly can't say enough about the risotto -- some of the best I've had, including a trip to Italy.
Their ceviches are also great -- again, not a huge seafood person, but their lobster ceviche is insanely good. Great balance of lime, pairing well with the Aji amarillo Cream and chifles.
They also do a great job on the classic Lomo Saltado. Again, the beef was super tender and the sauce was great consistency and flavor. Also, obsessed with the rice. I don't know what kind it is, but I had mine and another bowl to go. So so good.
FAVORITE Maracuya Mousse - who's ready for dessert?! Their passion fruit mousse atop a round slice of chocolate cake was divine. The cake was unnecessary, truthfully, but the passion fruit mousse was a tropical getaway not to be overlooked. Highly, highly recommend. We also tried the Alfajor, which was filled with dulce de leche and it wasn't too shabby, but the mousse was just the clear winner of the night!
FAVORITE ORDERS: Rissoto a Ia Huancaina con Lomo Saltado & Maracuya Mousse
Food: 5/5 Service/Speed: 4/5 Price (college student budget): $$ Ambiance: Casual, very open space. Really enjoyed the tribute to Peru with the interior design. Good spot for lunch or dinner.

Read moreI bring my 5 and 6 y.o. here to play. A lot of kids show up. It's small enough to watch everything going on, but also has a lot of things to do for the kids. Two large slides and two kiddie size slides, 6 swings, a monkey bar/net area, and a spinning thing. All the kids from the playground seem to love the spinning thing. There's a basket ball court nearby. The park is really close to the beach. A bike repair is next to it and you have those scooters you can rent. Plenty of parking. Uses wood chips. A couple of benches for people to sit at. A couple of trash cans. Ice cream truck will also come.
The closest bathrooms is a hike away. About 100 yards and anyone with kids knows that's a distance that your playing roulette with.
Some of their swings are very cleverly designed so you can put a kid in front of the swing you sit in, or do what I did. Put my 5 y.o. in the baby harness and my 6 y.o. on the big seat and easily push the both.
It's a public park so cleanliness is already questionable. I've definitely seen cups left behind and food, like lollipops in...
Read moreIts a nice park. Just wished it had more items for kids with disabilities could use. My child is in a wheelchair so she had a tough trying to roll herself or me pushing her in the wood chips but it does at least have a wheelchair ramp. She can't get up on the big slides so she played with her lol sister on the toddler slide. Also they need a bigger selection of swings. The handicap swing there is alittle too small and too high up for her plus it is always used by people who dont really need it. Even though that being said its nice . she had an okay time but I would of loved her too have more fun like her other sisters. We did what we could and were blessed too have been able to get out and enjoy this...
