Food is overly priced when it’s basic food, pretty sure half the stuff is microwaved by the taste and texture of it. Coffee is decent & only affordable if you drink it black or no flavors. Add in some flavors, alternative milk and get the large, the drink is $8-$9. More expensive than Starbucks! And you barely taste the flavors, if I ask for extra I get charged even more. Atmosphere is calming when it’s slow but hectic when it’s busy. Some staff is friendly, others seem to barely want to talk to customers which is odd for being a customer oriented job. Food comes out before drinks, and then when the drinks finally come out it’s not all that good for the price I paid! I used to get a latte with sweetened condensed milk and oat milk, and the young lady with curly black hair would make it phenomenal every time. Other employees can never match the consistency! I have not seen that young lady in a little while and I refuse for anyone else to make my drink. Okay place, has potential but needs to work on consistency and food quality. Hope you enjoyed my honest review,...
Read moreVery good bloody mary! It was flavorful and just spicy enough to satisfy. The bloody mary came garnished with a slice of lemon and three HUGE green olives. Tasty! I only wish I had come around three hours later, when happy hour kicks in at 4 p.m. That would've made it taste even better by default!
I also got the breakfast burrito, which was basic, but good. It didn't need any gimmicks-- it had plenty of eggs and enough bacon to satisfy. The salsa that comes with it was good, as well; chunky enough for substance but smooth enough to pour out into the burrito between bites.
I also ordered the pretzel for sharing, and I was pleasantly surprised when the order included not one but TWO big 'ol pretzels. Plenty for sharing! At first, I was a little disappointed that all the pretzel came with was hot mustard, but then I tasted it and it changed my mind! The mustard was very tangy and potent, and it went well with the pretzel. The pretzel was warm and soft on the inside. Stellar! I'll definitely be back to Mudita...
Read moreMudita has been the perfect Ocean View addition! I am so happy to have a local coffee shop that I don’t have to drive 15+minutes to and fight for a seat to work or study. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The sandwiches are delicious and the avocado toast is amazing! I recommend adding chicken and pesto. I love that they cater just as much to tea drinkers as they do coffee lovers. Most coffee shops only offer basic teas, while Mudita updates their teas just like they do their coffees. They truly have something for everyone! Most of their syrups are made in house and a delicious addition to any tea or latte. For my fellow tea drinkers I highly recommend what I like to call “hug in a mug” it is an earl grey tea made like a London fog with carmel and vanilla. If the day is cold and gloomy or you just need some comfort this drink is sure to do the trick! For the pumpkin season I suggest a...
