The Churro Cone Okay, so picture this: it's a rainy day in Norfolk, VA and we're on the hunt for something sweet while driving back from the oceanfront to lift our spirits. That's when we decided to go the drive thru. There was barely a line. My husband got his favorite Snickers blizzard and I decided to try the Churro Dipped Cone for desert in the small size and let me tell you, this cone is like the ice cream version of cinnamon toast crunch. The classic soft serve vanilla ice cream is dipped in a yummy churro-flavored coating and topped with cinnamon sugar. If you're in the mood for something new and delicious, definitely give the Churro Dipped Cone a go. I heard it's back and I really hope it sticks around because I don't know why they would take it off the menu. This is by far the worst DQ I have ever been to. It's unfortunate that it is the only one on my side of town. I am disappointed every single time I come to this particular one but I am always hopeful that things will be different when I go. They are absolutely horrible with the portion sizes of the toppings. So much so that I pay extra to get extra toppings but they pretty much just tale your money because I think they reduce the toppings if you request more. Keep in mind that I ordered extra topping when you look at the picture of the vanilla ice cream that that whipped up for me with no toppings. Pisses me off every time I get home. Straight waste of time and money. All the other DQ I go to be fully loaded with toppings. They are trash for this. Period. ...
