This 1 star review is based on the extremely disorganized Lost and Found Department. On Dec. 3, 2019, I bought two tickets for the 12:45 pm Queen and Slim showing in Theatre 7. When I got home, I realized I left my pink/white JanSoprt backpack. I called the Lost and Found Department the same evening and was told that my bag was indeed there. I asked them how long they keep lost items and was told 30 DAYS. She asked for my full name, so they could know who I was when I picked it up. On Dec 23, 2019 I called and asked about my bag because I was going to pick it up the next day. They had me on the phone for a while only to tell me that there was NO RECORD of it in their log! It was like I never called! On Dec 26, 2019 I called again after finding my movie stubs from the day in question only for the manager to disregard the info I provided and inform me that they only keep lost items for 14 DAYS. Again he said the item was never recorded in the logs. It is unprofessional to provide false info about others' possessions. I am extremely disappointed by the way this was handled. Be sure not to lose anything in this theatre. If so, pick it up right away and record the names of those you speak with. Lesson learned.

This was a great theater located on the third floor of the MacArthur shopping center. The theater was nice and modern. My husband and I had two discount tickets through T-Mobile which we purchased on an app for $4 each. It was well worth it and more. They scanned our app for pour tickets ans were very friendly and fast at service. They were also very modern and up to date except for the bathroom which were a complete mess after our movie ended. This can be expected, but in 3 out of 5 stalls was a bit much. Also there was no automatic soap or faucet. The concession was great and new snacks uncommon to movie theaters I frequent. I had never had Cheetos popcorn. I have had chief is, but not at the movie theater. They were excellent. While the screen was not as large as an AMC I loved the incline seating and roominess of the theater. We will return. This wad our first visit and we used Google maps yo grt here. We did not realize it was downtown. Be prepared to pay $2 to park in the parking garage via cash or Visa/MasterCard. This is worth for the great experience.

I like this theater specially to watch Bollywood Indian movies. When Bollywood movies are released on American circuit in the Hampton Roads region they are showing at the Regal Mcarthur Center cinemas. People here at the mall for movies should park in the parking garage level 4 and just walk to the theaters which are on the same level in the mall. Clean theater, comfortable seating good choices on the concessions stand menu, no long lines, multiple ways to buy tickets at the theater plus if you show your parking ticket they will stamp it so your parking in Mcarthur garage is free. One of the improvements I will suggest is adding reclining seats in all auditoriums. I highly recommend this theater. #letsguide #wheelchairaccessible #coveredparkinglot #bollywoodmovies #datenight

Today is June 2. 2025. I had planned to spend my morning at the movie today watching, "Lilo & Stitch. " It was meant for me to enjoy the movie to the fullest. I attended the 11:00am, showing and it was the "Bomb, Diggity!" I was the only one in the entire movie. I laughed as loud as I wanted to and I got a call during the movie that literally brought tears to my eyes..... There was only one problem, the chairs were horrible. They were positioned in an upright position and you couldn't make any adjustments. Being that I was alone and the only one there I wanted to get comfortable. But oh well, the movie did everything I needed to do to start my Tuesday off with a blast! Big Ups to "Regal Cinema at Mac Arthur Mall," for being the second thing on my agenda that brought me some joy and laughter. The first thing was watching several videos on JW.org. I always put Kingdom interest first which has made me the person I am today. All praises go to Jehovah God! With the world experiencing Bible Prophecies on a daily basis,- my prayers go out to the entire world. Love & Blessings: To you All!...... Naomi Tucker

really enjoyed watching the movie, "Jurassic World, - Domination." The popcorn prices have definitely increased but it's not like I go to the movies every weekend! The mall as usual is clean and the stores are well stocked. If you want to shop, - enjoy urselves! I give MacArthur Mall and the Movie theater a, "Big Up," in Norfolk's downtown...

Horrible experience! Recently went to see Deadpool, got there 25 minutes before the movie started and ordered some fries from the concession. 25 minutes later my fries still wasn’t done, I asked the guy who was bringing out food where my fries were. He told me they wasn’t ready, even though I’ve already waited 25 minutes for them. He asked what movie would I be in, and I told him Deadpool. So, he then tells me that his manager told me to go to my theater and they would bring my fries to me. Well, 30 minutes into the movie no one ever comes in to bring me my food. Of course I’m upset because concession food isn’t cheap and I knew I would have to leave the movie to see what was taking so long. I go back to the concession and the guy I spoke with earlier was ignoring me. So the women who was at the register went to investigate for me to see what was taking so long. She comes back and tells me that the guy told her that he forgot what I looked like (but no one ever came in the theater to even look for me) and some other guy comes out to hand me some cold fries. I paid $8 for some cold fries, and wasn’t even offered my money back. Word of advice if you go there only get popcorn. Sad I missed a chunk of the movie to make a trip to the concession. If this didn’t happen I’m sure I would’ve enjoyed the theater. Sometimes the employees can ruin a...

I recently visited the Regal Cinema at MacArthur Center in Norfolk, VA, and while the experience was overall decent, earning it a solid 4 out of 5 stars, there were a few aspects that left me wanting more, especially when compared to the Regal near my home that has unfortunately closed.

Firstly, the staff interaction didn't quite meet my expectations. While I understand that the bustling city location can make it challenging to maintain the same level of personalized service due to the sheer volume of patrons, a friendlier approach would significantly enhance the overall experience.

The concession prices, particularly for beverages, are another area of concern. As an Unlimited Plan member, I expected a better deal than $8 for a diet drink, with no options for diet caffeine-free alternatives besides water. Given these prices, it's hard to justify paying the same amount for water. There's an option for a collector cup at $4 for refills, but since the cup is about half the size and requires purchasing two before you get a "deal," it doesn't feel like much of a savings.

In summary, while the location is convenient in the heart of the city and the cinematic experience is up to standard, the customer service and concession pricing could use some improvement. Here's hoping for a better balance between quality service and value...
