Offenbachers Home Escapes — Attraction in North Bethesda

My experience of purchasing a Hydropool swim spa from Offenbachers is: “working with you on deliveries” means "you will do all the work", in other words a SNAFU. Additionally, any questioning of their communication is met with excuses and deflection.

I suspect that Offenbachers doesn’t want to store swim spas so they make sure customers can make all arrangements with other contractors (crane, etc.) and then arrange delivery date with the swim spa company. This results in delivery delays and customers having to contact all the contractors to make arrangements for a new day. I was even told that the new dates were tentative and that could be unavailable at any time before I verify and could change again. Therefore, I conclude that "working with you on deliveries" which was said to me many times in the sales pitch actually means "you will do all the work."

That being said, I went to Offenbachers because I wanted a Hydropool and I am very happy with the Hydropool. I use it everyday and learning to swim against current isn't hard. Additionally, I used on the contractors (concrete, electrician, and crane) recommended by Offenbachers and they were great and seemed unsurprised when dates changed. Offenbachers uses What - We Have A Truck delivery service and they were also very pleasant to work with. And finally, Offenbachers pool service came out to make minor repairs to the cabinetry that was damaged during shipment and they were very helpful making me consider using their service monthly (but as of now keeping the chemicals balanced and the pool clean hasn't been hard). In conclusion, one of the best big purchases i have ever made; however, not the greatest experience due to Offenbachers' communication...

Offenbachers to the rescue! So professional and kind.

Trying to coordinate after a flooded basement with Servpro, contractors, furniture movers, tilers, and pool table movers can be quite stressful and it was all going pretty well up to find the company that would safely take care of our expensive table. Having finally settle for someone who could come to take it down in a week but not be able to set it up for a month or so I thought we had it all figured out until the tilers called to say that our materials came in 10 days early. Now I had to alter everything and the table guy was a "No WAY". Just out of desperation I called Offenbachers and from the moment Alex heard my frantic story, he assured me he could help me out on my timeline. Within the hour I was scheduled for both the take apart and the rebuild. Two days later Juan and his partner were at my door 2 minutes early. He showed me on the table where the initial installers (some guys from VA) had left some bumps and assured me that when he returned that they would be corrected and my table would be better than when it was new. He called me down to show me how he stored and wrapped the table so professionally. (The actual place he pointed out is the one place that my son always says screws up his shot.) Two days and tile laid later, Juan was at my door ( again 2 minutes early with his sweet self and partner.) It took about 40 minutes to get it back together, equalize and level it. He showed me every angle of leveling and what it had done to make it better than the first installation. I am so grateful for the costumer service and would, without a doubt recommend Offenbachers to anyone....

I recently purchased a hot tub from Offenbachers in Rockville. I liked their products more than hot tubs I saw at other places. More importantly, I purchased based on my interaction with Scott King. He was the sales person I worked with and my experience with him was wonderful. I was allowed to put a tub on hold while I waited for HOA approval. This was important as they only had one of my preferred model and color in my state. Not allowing me to do this could have caused a delay while a tub was shipped. He came out to my house to discuss placement and how the installers would get it down the hill to my yard. He communicated regularly throughout the 60 days it took for my HOA to approve the plans. Once installed, he came out to my house and trained me on how to use the tub. He started it up with the salt and showed me everything I needed to know. He even allowed me to video it all so that I can refer to it when I need to. This was the most important thing and I do not think I would have gotten that service level elsewhere.
