I like this little supermarket, it has everything inside and they employees are super nice especially the ones on the register, they always try to get rid of the lines which is always a good thing to me. However I've had an experience with the owner awhile back, I remember it was early they had just open the doors and started to bring out the produce and stuff but one of the worker was getting rid of the bad stuff aka cabbage, carrots and stuff like that, I asked him if I could get the lettuce for my bunnies since he was throwing them out anyways and he told me to ask the owner which was understandable coming from him he didn't want to get in trouble so I said ok and went to find the owner he came out and I nicely explained i have a couple of bunnies that would eat those cabbage and carrots that was being thrown away, he looked me in the face and said no with no explanation or anything so I said it's in the garbage so that means it's trash why can't I have it and he said I just can't have it, I was super pissed being that we spend alot of money in this supermarket. The supermarket is nice the workers are nice but I'm not a fan...
Read moreI don't know whether PARTIDAR even do quality test of products like Jaggery before adding it to their retail offering to customers. I purchased this jaggery of Anand brand that comes in cubes. From outside it appeared like a good quality jaggery but when I tried it, its texture and taste both were way way substandard. Jagger is supposed to be soft like clay but these cubes were brittle and crispy like sugar powder was added to them. Similarly, many 5kg Jaggery pieces are found to contain white sugar powder inside. Jaggery making is not a rocket science and this has been made traditionally for centuries but this sort of adulteration in jaggery when India is the largest producer of cane sugar looks so petty. I request PARTIDAR to do quality test of such products and only allow authentic quality. It's not like NRIs do not have purchasing power, we can buy little expensive but such jokes with the product quality are unacceptable. I am going to garbage this jaggery because I deserve quality product. I don't want to feed myself sugar on the name of jaggery, which has unique health benefits as per tradition as well...
Read moreJust happened to spot this place this week we're driving by so we stopped in to check it out. This is really an entire Indian mall with many businesses here including a bakery supplying you with your Indian food choices. This is a fairly large store with a very good variety of Indian fruits vegetables some bakery items and canned goods as well. The bakery section is off to the left as you walk in and it can be missed if you're not paying attention. As with most Indian places there is a large rice section, this is located at the back left of the building. There are restrooms, you just have to get the key for them from the main counter. There's plenty of parking here, but there are several different businesses here which of all their busy times lineup could be hard to find parking. We bought a few things here including some things from the bakery and we're pretty happy, I just wish I had found Fox nuts as that's one of my favorite Indian snacks. Maybe I missed them because their snack section is quite large as well.
