I like this little supermarket, it has everything inside and they employees are super nice especially the ones on the register, they always try to get rid of the lines which is always a good thing to me. However I've had an experience with the owner awhile back, I remember it was early they had just open the doors and started to bring out the produce and stuff but one of the worker was getting rid of the bad stuff aka cabbage, carrots and stuff like that, I asked him if I could get the lettuce for my bunnies since he was throwing them out anyways and he told me to ask the owner which was understandable coming from him he didn't want to get in trouble so I said ok and went to find the owner he came out and I nicely explained i have a couple of bunnies that would eat those cabbage and carrots that was being thrown away, he looked me in the face and said no with no explanation or anything so I said it's in the garbage so that means it's trash why can't I have it and he said I just can't have it, I was super pissed being that we spend alot of money in this supermarket. The supermarket is nice the workers are nice but I'm not a fan...

I don't know whether PARTIDAR even do quality test of products like Jaggery before adding it to their retail offering to customers. I purchased this jaggery of Anand brand that comes in cubes. From outside it appeared like a good quality jaggery but when I tried it, its texture and taste both were way way substandard. Jagger is supposed to be soft like clay but these cubes were brittle and crispy like sugar powder was added to them. Similarly, many 5kg Jaggery pieces are found to contain white sugar powder inside. Jaggery making is not a rocket science and this has been made traditionally for centuries but this sort of adulteration in jaggery when India is the largest producer of cane sugar looks so petty. I request PARTIDAR to do quality test of such products and only allow authentic quality. It's not like NRIs do not have purchasing power, we can buy little expensive but such jokes with the product quality are unacceptable. I am going to garbage this jaggery because I deserve quality product. I don't want to feed myself sugar on the name of jaggery, which has unique health benefits as per tradition as well...

Just happened to spot this place this week we're driving by so we stopped in to check it out. This is really an entire Indian mall with many businesses here including a bakery supplying you with your Indian food choices. This is a fairly large store with a very good variety of Indian fruits vegetables some bakery items and canned goods as well. The bakery section is off to the left as you walk in and it can be missed if you're not paying attention. As with most Indian places there is a large rice section, this is located at the back left of the building. There are restrooms, you just have to get the key for them from the main counter. There's plenty of parking here, but there are several different businesses here which of all their busy times lineup could be hard to find parking. We bought a few things here including some things from the bakery and we're pretty happy, I just wish I had found Fox nuts as that's one of my favorite Indian snacks. Maybe I missed them because their snack section is quite large as well.

We purchased a box of mangoes from the store two weeks ago. They were labelled as Alphonso and the store charged us $39.99 for a case of 12. In fact, the cashier said we should get this case and spent several minutes carefully replacing some of the damaged mangoes with others from a different box. Now, I have eaten Alphonso mangoes before. They are astonishingly good and are remarkably well known for having no fiber. What this box contained were not Alphonso mangoes at all, but a much inferior variety. They were not even as good in quality as Kesar, which is the next best variety. The entire box is fraudulently labelled Alphonso. It should be sold for 1/10th of the cost charged. I would not buy these specialty products at Patidar - they defraud you. This is clearly an attempt to capitalize on our craving for the best desi mangoes.

Busy place on weekends and on evenings . Parking is tight with so many good places in this complex . Patidhar products are good . They have a roti place within and lots and lots of Indian spices , snacks and vegetables . Priced slightly higher than Edison supermarkets but good for south Brunswick residents . They sell hot chai inside and tasted ok.. billing is quick and service is good. Liked it overall.. 👍

Indian grocery store right on the Finnegan’s lane with variety of stuff right from vegetables, spices, fresh Roti’s, dry snack, seasonal items etc. Everything is well organized and stocked properly in the aisles. Parking could be a problem during peak hours as it’s a shared parking lot. The produce section is usually pretty good, although sometimes veggies are wilted or loaded with fruit flies.
