Cannery Casino — Attraction in North Las Vegas

Okay, so my card FINALLY worked this time and I was able to play my Freeplay rewards. I've been somewhat disappointed in this casino and Boyd Gaming in general over this matter. It shouldn't be a guessing game as to whether or not I'll earn points for playing or be able to actually use my rewards bonus points. I'm playing on average $300 everytime I walk in. I expect to see that in the points I earn. They don't have a problem taking keeping my money so why do I have a problem receiving rewards? I call FOUL on this! Something just ain't working out here. The last time I went, I won quite a bit so no complaints. I usually walk out even or a little bit ahead. Very RARELY do I walk out having given them more than I walked in with. I know what I can afford to lose when I walk through the door but this card thing is making me feel cheated. Don't invite me to a party and it's actually 2 drunk guys dancing the Polka. Oh, they gained a star because of the DELICIOUS Cafe. They lose a star because of the sour faced cocktail waitress I encountered. Along the lines of, "you can't make this up", I asked the cocktail waitress for a Pepsi, light ice please. Her response, "I'm just delivering 2 drinks, not taking orders. Wait for someone else." I then told her I'm Diabetic and need some sugar as soon as possible. She walked away from me and didn't return. I had to go to the bar and pay for it. UPDATE So this last trip was pretty fun. I met a lady that kept me laughing, high-fiving on bonuses and just having a blast of a great time while we both lost money. Yesh, we lost but it sure was fun AND our cards worked! *Another UPDATE * So I decided to drop in on favorite casino this past Friday. I'm so happy that I did! I won over $420! Uhm...I gave them back $180. THEN I WON IT BACK! After winning and losing the same $200 (give or take $30), I skipped out of there with $360! I went in with $80. I think I did...

They have many different machines now to choose from. And they also still have five dollar dice tables here, if you are into playing craps. I like it. Most casinos have gone up to at least ten dollar limits on their tables. They even have a whole new electronic dice table that looks really cool. Although I still like the original table better. They should add at least one more original craps table. Because sometimes the other one is full and it's hard to get on the other one. The sports book is pretty small, but other then that, they have enough here to have a fun night. They even have a movie theater here too, if you are looking for one. I wish the buffet was still open though. They don't look like they are going to open it back up. It's been closed for a while now. Just recently, they have opened up a Steakburger inside here and their burgers are great. And they have also opened up a coffee shop as well. And they still have their cafe as well. So they are improving. This casino is decent. It used to be a lot better. There is some upside though. They have put in a lot of new machines lately, if that is what you are in to. They are starting to be a lot more up to date. And their food place selection is improving. So hopefully they continue to improve. So far, it seems to be...

Absolutely positively disgusting!!!! We ordered the bacon egg and French toast. I ordered the bacon well done because before the bacon was still raw. So we were trying to get it done but nothing like this. Bake the bacon, leave the bacon on the grill longer, I don’t care what you do but do not EVER EVER EVER……EVERRRRRRRR DEEP FRY BACON! That is such a nasty practice! Nasty! The eggs was swimming in butter! Absolutely nasty! Manager never even offered to take something off our fruit bowl or wings. Breakfast 28.00 dollars. Ayyyyyeeeee…. AVOID THIS PLACE VICTORY FOOD IS NASTY NASTY NASTY! And they charge 15 percent for to go!!!!!! That’s crazy! This is my very LAST TIME EVER COMING THERE!
