Second time coming to this facility. First visit I don’t remember much as it was a little over a year ago and I was there for a birthday party and my own child was almost a year old so once again not much to say on that experience.
However I just recently took my daughter that is now 2 years old.
$18 for a child that is 2 years of age and then an additional $9 for an adult entry to accompany them with a 60 minute window of play time is not cost friendly. Then an additional $5.99+tax for a pair of grippy socks ?!
I can take my 2 year old to a competitor that charges $19 for both my child and I with unlimited playtime same day purchase. Grippy socks pair is $1.99. In addition to the grippy sock comment- the competitor does not require the adult to have grippy socks but socks in general.
Cost comparison, not worth us coming back anytime soon. Sock requirement I understand to a certain degree. Let the adults wear their own socks (grippy or not). You look around and see majority of the adults/kids placing the grippy socks over their existing socks. Thus causing more heat generated in the feet area thus promoting body sweat. Ewww. Its mention that socks are required for the cleanliness safety of everyone enjoying the facility, however not a single employee was walking around doing periodic wipe downs. They only walked around to enforce the grippy socks.
Toddler play area is smaller compared to other local indoor play areas like this.
My own child loves to explore so therefore we explored the rest of the area. Now I am keeping in mind that this facility is built for children. However I am 5’5 at 120lbs slender built. Following my own child around in the other areas was a tight fit at times. Crawl spaces are limited. As I observed and experience I hit my head numerous times and I would often see the other children running into each other or having to wait for the other child to pass by in the “halls” of these obstacles set.
So how can kids be kids and run freely the way they want without hurting each other. They have to be careful. But my concern is- what if a child got hurt and needed assistance. How is the more average adult or even EMS suppose to get to the child to tend to their safety and health. If they are stuck up there? Just my opinions and thoughts… obviously it must not be a fire safety code of any sort since they are licensed and open for business.
The trampoline area was fun and enjoyable. Spacious majority of the time as we were there jumping.
All in all, my personal opinion- not toddler friendly and not...
Read moreIf I could give this place a zero I would!!!! We bought tics on Groupon for my sons 5th bday thinking this place would be fun for him for the day to celebrate. We'll I was completely wrong. It was the worst experience I have ever had with customer service. I bought both my 8year old and 5 year old tixs since the age requirement was 2 and under free, so my 20 month old baby didn't need a tix. We brought our own rubber bottom socks that are required to enter to play in the play area. The lady Hope helped us check in, she tells us we now have to buy a tix for my youngest baby because the charge for a tix for any person 18 months and older...so no worries we pay the fee for him. Then we are told my baby's socks are not the right socks. Mind you they had the rubber at the bottom of them. So my husband doesn't want to cause an issue so he pays for the socks now. So now we have laid out for the Groupon, the extra charge for our baby and then socks for him. We enter the play area to go play and the is immediately three little kids probably under the age of 5, running around with plain socks no rubber bottoms at all. I tell the event manager "hey why are they allowed to wear those socks and I had to be charged for socks because they didn't approve of the rubber ones he had on. She fought the issue that her staff knows how to check socks and refused to do anything for us!!! I asked why I was being treated differently? She said we are worried about ur son right now, not the other people. So the other kids safety wasn't important? Or maybe we were just treated very different then the other customers there. She ruined my sons experience there and we would never return. Mind you in trying to still get a refund on my Groupon being that the event manager couldn't do anything!!!!! Bad bad place! Don't...
Read moreThis place is on the lower end of the spectrum for children's birthday parties...meaning you get what you pay for. If you compare this to other birthday venues the price point is really good... on paper.
I got a weekday package $250.00 I paid a $100.00 deposit
Prior to my party I had called and called and felt like I can never get through to someone to answer my questions.
You get 10 guest For 10 wrist bands. Adults with out wrist bands are free.
However if you have your max amount of guests you ARE required to leave a 10% gratuity tip... The service we received would have gotten zero if it wasn't mandatory for us to tip. My husband had to go find our host on more then one occasion asking for more plates and napkins , a lighter that they said they'd provide for birthday candles(tip for future: just bring your own).
We also showed up 30 mins early for set up and the party entrance side was down and we had to wait in the main line. This place was severely understaffed the lady at the front asked her coworker for help and she said " I can't I'm almost off the clock"
My daughter and her friends enjoyed her self. However this place would probably be better just for a weekend day for fun rather than hosting a party
Also it seemed as though anyone could just walk in and out and no sense of 'securtity'
Rules felt loosely applied unless it was due to the nature of pricing.
If you are planning on doing your birthday party here I would recommend that you have a written guest list prior. And keep your decorations to a minimum as they do. Kick you out as your time is up. Show up earlier then 15 mins to set up.
I could see my self doing a party here in the future but I would have less then 10 kids so I don't have to pay gratuity on top of 250
