Chung Hing Oriental Market — Attraction in North Miami Beach

Fantastic store that literally had all of our needs. Service was spot on as the younger guy at the register and the lady stocking was BEYOND helpful. We saw just about anything and everything - seafood, produce, buns, teas, even accessories like sushi mats and flame guns - they've seriously got it all. Prices as you can imagine are very accommodating as well and you definitely have options here when it comes to pricing. Fair amount of parking - accessible parking as well but be aware that the aisles are tight so that may be an issue, but knowing the service here they wouldn't hesitate to help however they can. Don't let the exterior fool you - this is a robust shop.

Great selection of Chinese and Asian products. I have lived in Shanghai for over 5 years and traveled to Hong Kong once a month for the last 2 years. I am in Florida due to CoVid. I missed some chinese dishes and looked for BASIC ingredients all over. This place has a huge assortment and multi brands. I went in looking for Shaoshing wine and a decent sesame oil. I left with those items and then some like super fresh baby bok choy, fresh chili peppers, ginger chews. I had to practice restraint.

If you're looking for one or two key ingredients for a dish that you can't find at your favorite supermarket's Asian section, this place has it. Needed fish sauce. They had one brand for sale at Publix and ran out. Chung Hing had 20 different brands ranging in price from $4.00 up to $15.00!They also have it in economically-sized quantities. Need ANYTHING you need to cook your Asian favorites in restaurant-sized quantities? They have it. Their helpful way pointing out where to find that dried fish you need is needed--shelves are crammed!
