We had our wedding in the courtyard and it was very beautiful. There was little decorating required on our end, so that was a great plus. Leslie and Taylor were the rockstars of this experience. Those two handled everything on the day of our wedding and we were so thankful for their attentiveness and professionalism. THE FOOD WAS OUTSTANDING!!. Its been almost a month since our wedding and we still have family and friends raving about how great the food was. However there were some things that could have been handled differently. We committed to having our wedding here back in 2017 and barely had any communication with the venue until two weeks out from our wedding day. We also had several office workers communicating with us over those two weeks which made it confusing to keep track of conversations had. Casey wasn't very involved in the process other than to sign us up and take our deposit. After that we were dealing with everyone else in the office. As far as "wedding planning" goes, that was pretty much nonexistent. I mention this because the service of wedding planning is mentioned a lot during the consultation process but that was all of our responsibility. The service they do provide is day of ceremony coordination. Their preferred vendor list is optional to use and we decided to use other outside vendors. We found the vendors on their list to be generally more expensive. I'm not sure if they were short handed on staff for our wedding day but our DJ ended up having to help with moving tables and chairs which he shouldn't have had to do. We were told last minute that our flower girl couldn't use fake flower petals, and by last minute i mean as wife was able to walk down the aisle. If you are thinking of having your wedding here, i would say don't expect any type of wedding planning from them, also expect to communicate with everybody but Casey. Get a clear understanding of cocktail hour if you're having a cash bar. Overall we have no regrets having our special day here, and once again SERIOUSLY THE BEST WEDDING FOOD...
Read moreIf you are considering 21 Main Events, I would just say this “stop looking and secure your date now!” I’m a very deliberative person who researches everything. So, I’m here to tell you, there is nothing left to research – book 21 Main Events! (nope, I don’t work there or have any other connections – just passionate about good service & quality).
We can’t say enough about the entire crew at 21 Main Events. From our first meeting with Casey, we knew this was the right place for our dream wedding. They really got to know us and were able to implement our vision. From a 2020 “Covid reschedule” to the detail-oriented requests, this cohesive TEAM delivered! Our guests are literally still talking about the incredible weekend over a month later.
I’ll try to summarize our journey as best I can:
DAY 1: Touring the venue, understanding their experience philosophy “UNSURPASSED HOSPITALITY” and asking us lots of questions about us and our vision. PLANNING: Friendly, detailed communication. Their experience drives conversations about every detail – most of which I would have never even thought of. They also have a comprehensive list of vendors. I was so happy with all of their recommendations! (Floral, DJ, Photographer, Officiant) RE-PLANNING: When our wedding was faced with the issues surround the pandemic, the TEAM worked with us on pivoting – providing us with options. We were so happy with how the wedding was coming together, we changed up our rehearsal dinner at the last minute and used 21 Main for our welcome party for all of our out of town guests. EXECUTION: The most friendly staff, INCREDIBLE FOOD and yes – they delivered on unsurpassed hospitality and service. Leslie and Kat were there for every detail the day of the wedding. There is also a lovely bridal suite, shown in the photos.
Thanks...
Read moreI wish my experience was as stellar as some of these reviews. My spouse and I got married here, the planning went absolutely beautifully, communication was strong but the day of my wedding went a complete different route. Upon arrival my bridal attendant was extremely uninterested and greeted us with “do you want to be seen by your guests or walk around the back, the back is trashy”. We proceeded through where the guests were to get ready for the reception. The food was absolutely disgusting. It was nothing compared to the food we taste tested. It was cold and had little to no flavor. The attitudes of most of the staff were terrible the only pleasant individual was the bar tender that night. Even the servers barely greeted our guests and at the steak station the man cutting the steak didn’t even ask what was preferred he just slapped bloody steak on everyone’s plates. As a bride I was not only embarrassed by the food and the attitude of the staff, but I was further embarrassed when we had a meeting with the manager John the following day to discuss our concerns as thousands of dollars went down the drain. He was extremely rude to my mother who tried to express her opinion by raising his voice and becoming defensive. John promised my spouse and I a “honeymoon”’on the beach all expenses paid. I have a recording of him saying this and was looking forward to it despite how badly we were treated. We have contacted this company multiple times to speak with John to absolutely no avail. We have been ghosted all together. This company seems to tend to a certain group of individuals. I would...
