First let me start with Longhorn is literally one of our FAVORITE places to eat. So to say what I’m about to say about our favorite restaurant hurts my heart. Having said that, what we experienced tonight was unacceptable. My wife and I had spent a long day in NC at the Rodeo. I personally don’t not eat much at those types of events as most is fried and unhealthy. On our way back home we decided to stop at our tried and true good old’ Longhorn. Seeing as how we were simply exhausted we called to place a to-go order when we were 8 minutes away. We were met with attitude on the other end of the line as we were told that they aren’t talking to-go orders and we’d have to come in and place the order. Mind you it’s 10:15 and they close at 11pm. So we arrive at 10:23. We walked in, was shuffled off to the bar to place our order. This is when it all went wrong. Not only did the bartender look annoyed but she just ignored us completely upon arrival. My wife and I both locked eyes with her and she was as quiet as a church mouse. Not a hello, or a I’ll be right with you NOTHING. 10 minutes pass and she finally said do you need something. I proceeded to tell her that we just wanted to place a to-go order as we were not allowed to place over the phone. She shrugged her shoulders and was like oh okay hold on. 10 more minutes pass and as I am patiently waiting for someone, anyone to take our order. I noticed that where the to-go order counter is that there is a guy TAKING TO-GO orders. I become internally enraged as we had tried that 20+ minutes earlier and were told we couldn’t. Moving on, I see what looks like a possible MOD assisting in bagging up to-go orders. As she walks past us, she asks is there something I can do for you? I then proceeded to tell her that we had been trying to place a to-go order and again we were met with the oh okay. Still no help. Another 10 mins goes by and at this point I’m feeling like I’m going to explode bc all we wanted to do was place a to-go order and get out of their hair and go home and have a good meal. I decided that we had waited long enough. I walked up to the entrance to the kitchen and asked the what I thought was a MOD if anyone had planned on helping us and she stood there with a befuddled look on her face as if she was brand new. I stated that we’d been there almost 25 mins and NO ONE wanted to take our order. She then said to me, did you ask the bartender to which I replied yes of course she’s the first person we tried to get to take our order. It was like we were an inconvenience. Mind you, there was a table of two sat in the bar area 5 minutes after we arrived and the bartender went over and took their drink order before she even asked us if we needed help. Needless to say, we walked out hungry and infuriated. It’s a damn shame. We expected so much more from Longhorn, especially the NMB location. Shame on yall for treating customers this way! We have NO intention of giving them any of our money anytime soon. Not that our 2-3 visits there monthly matter to them, but still. It’s the principle. So food 1 star bc we didn’t eat any. Service 1 bc they treated us as if we had the plague. I’d give a -5 if I could. And 1 for atmosphere bc the people who we came into contact with had the worst attitude and lack of customer service so it ruined the what is usually a beautiful atmosphere. THUMBS DOWN FOR THIS...

My recent visit to LongHorn Steakhouse left much to be desired, with subpar service overshadowing the potential of the establishment. Upon arrival, the lackluster greeting from the hostess set the tone, as she merely inquired about party size without a warm welcome. The first disappointment came in the form of the bread served – not as an appetizing prelude, but rather a test of one's knife skills. The bread was inexplicably hard, to the extent that it crumbled upon contact, making even the simple act of cutting it a challenge. Such an oversight is particularly egregious considering the restaurant's reputation.
As we waited for our orders, the sluggish pace of service became increasingly apparent. Despite bringing the issue to the attention of the manager, immediate resolution remained elusive. The manager's apology lacked substance, and the promised action to address the situation was delayed. Even after demonstrating the issue with the bread, the response was lackadaisical at best. It was disheartening to witness such disregard for customer satisfaction, especially given the premium prices associated with dining at LongHorn.
The ordeal continued with a frustrating wait for basic amenities like straws for our drinks and the opportunity to place our orders, despite engaging with multiple staff members. For an establishment of LongHorn's caliber, one would reasonably expect a smoother and more efficient dining experience.
While I have previously enjoyed dining at LongHorn Steakhouse, this particular visit fell short of expectations. The shortcomings in service detracted from what could have otherwise been an enjoyable meal. Hopefully, this review serves as constructive feedback for LongHorn Steakhouse to reevaluate their service standards and ensure that future patrons receive the quality experience...

My wife and I recently had dinner at LongHorn Steakhouse in Myrtle Beach, and we were very impressed. The food was excellent, the service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was great.
We started our meal with the complimentary bread basket, which was warm and fresh. For our main course, I had the baby back ribs, and my wife had the filet mignon. Both dishes were cooked perfectly and were very flavorful. The ribs were tender and juicy, and the filet mignon was cooked medium-rare, just the way I like it. We also ordered the loaded baked potato and the asparagus as sides, and both were delicious.
Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. He made sure that we had everything we needed and that our food was cooked to our liking. He also gave us some great recommendations for drinks and desserts.
Overall, we had a wonderful experience at LongHorn Steakhouse. The food was excellent, the service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was great. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great steak dinner.
