Black Pearl Mini Golf — Attraction in North Myrtle Beach

HORRIBLE staff. First the lady behind the register charges an extra dollar for a 10 year olds candy. than on our last night informs us that put put is closed at 10:10 but somehow changes her mind and let’s us in. and informs us that she will be turning off the lights at 11:00. Not far into the course another family of 6 is allowed in even though it’s “closed.” She was later confronted for singling out our family and told us entire different things. she stated that it closes at 10:30 (even though we were at first denied at 10:10) than proceeds to argue like a 5 year old who didn’t get her way. she claims that she has other things to do before turning off the lights (she said this while smoking a cigarette.) she also claims to have not let the family in after us but she was the only one working the register and actually went back outside and pulled the family in to allow them to play. it is not 11:50 and she has closed both stores but the put put lights are still on. when confronted she has zero valid arguments but continued to fight it. looks like it’s time for someone to retire...(the ice cream parlor is another story they are outstanding especially the two girls who are...

I like to thank Ms.Pressie and Leeon for the hospitality that they gave to me and my family on last night (Monday)When we walked in we got an warm welcome from Mr.Dan and his wife.He got us all set up for mini golf and I tell you what this was a challenge mini golf game. The kids really enjoyed themselves and the adults. We had to bring my nephew here because we didn't make it last year and plus he's going back to school in Africa on Monday. Mermaid Dream Ice Cream Shop is amazing you can get milkshakes, sundae, banana splits and so much flavors to choose from. The two young ladies was great and they patience with the kids. This place is amazing,the staff is amazing this place is a gem to be seen.Great place to go for a girl's night out, church event, family gathering etc. Don't forget about the Candy Shop it's amazing all kinds of different candies you can think of.When you finish shopping in the Candy shop move over to the arcade and play some games.The kids loved the arcade and the adults favorite was Ms.Pac-Man all time favorite. The Myrtle Beach area has tons of mini-golf locations. Fortunately, Black Pearl MG was located within walking distance of our location. It was a pleasant surprise. Slightly dated but well-maintained. This is a fun entertainmnet location. Besides mini-golf, there's an arcade, fairly full candy store including bulk candy, a very good ice-cream store. The course itself is situated on a man-made lake set to a pirate theme. The course is not all too difficult, most holes being 2-par. But the setting is fun and entertaining. Afterwards, we enjoyed getting some candy then getting some ice-cream. We definitely plan on coming back here. The only reason for not giving 5-stars is some of the courses has patches and wear on the astro-turf. Also, there's not a lot of parking; its quite dispersed and not centralized. You may have a slight, short walk tot he main center. Otherwise, this is a repeat...
