If I could give them more stars, I would! We arrived a little after 5 on Friday and sat at the bar. We were greeted by the owner, Robert, who told us they had some good looking claims. He then went on to tell us about the oysters, shrimp, and everything else. He asked if it was our first time, it was, and he rang the bell and brought us complimentary crab dip. We ordered oysters on the half shell, steamed clams, peel and eat shrimp, crablegs, and cheesecake with a to die for strawberry sauce. Everything was beyond excellent. They steam the crab legs to order so they are not boiled nor sitting in water. My husband actually picked and ate the knuckles, which he never does with boiled. Read moreTried the gumbo and shrimp salad first, both were excellent. Oysters Rockefeller were very good but the Grilled oysters are probably the best I've ever had. Owners appreciate your business. And the whole place is just a friendly setting. Not open many days or long hours so you better get there while you can. We are here for a month and will be back!! You will not be disappointed!!
Just a follow up: took some relatives here and they absolutely loved this place. They said they would be dreaming about the grilled oysters when the got home.

All other oyster bars will no longer be a viable option. I'm convinced those oysters aren't from local waters, they are delivered straight from heaven. I'm shocked each one doesn't have a strand of pearls in them.
The clam chowder and key lime pie, also, just say no. You'll dream about them. The obsession can't be healthy. At least the staff is nice, but it could just be part of ploy to keep you wanting to visit anytime you're within a couple...
