MEGA Tsunami Surf Co. No. T12 — Attraction in North Myrtle Beach

BUYER BEWARE 4/29/22 pay attention when they check you out. They added 2 items that totaled 25.00 to my bag without me noticing until I got home. Went back the next day 4/30/22 to return the items and get my money back and the same woman tried to put the blame on me and tell me it was not her fault she put 2 items that were not mine in my bag and charged me for them. Even tells me a story about the 2 items being a different customers and that the other customer had to go get the same items again because they could not find them. Then proceeds to tell me no returns but instead I could pick out something else in the store. When I tell her this was not a me issue and I just want my money back she continued to say no and blame me. I asked for a manager and at that point she told me that I was being aggressive when truthfully I was being calmly assertive. The way she handled the situation screams scam. Throw some extras into a customers bag at checkout but when they come back tell them it’s their fault and offer no returns. Something tells me I'm not the first person she has done this to. We purchased an umbrella for the beach at this store. We took it to the beach opened it up and it immediately broke. We took it back with the receipt and tag still in it. The receipt says no refunds but exchange. Ok that’s all I wanted. The clerk raised her voice and stated “No exchanges on umbrellas! I told you yesterday it would break in the wind. I told you and all those other people that were back there looking at them”

First of all no she did not say anything of the sort to anyone in my group of 3. If she had I may have had second thoughts about buying it in the first place.

while on vacation we stopped to get some things. when we walked in the lady wasn’t doing anything at all. soon as we walked in she started following us while on the phone and we thought she was talking to us and she wasn’t she pointed to her ear . she was very disrespectful .. made it to the point where we wanted to just go to another store she followed us everywhere we stepped. and we approached the shirts and she acted like she was folding clothes and she wasn’t. we went to check out and she didn’t ask if we found anything okay & didn’t even tell us our total . i will never be coming back. there’s plenty of other beach stores that we will go to and you shouldn’t...
