We have been coming here for years whether it's been as residents or not residents ever since the first day we came here we have absolutely love this pool it has a huge body slide it has a drop side and has a diving board and it also has a shallow kid part with things and a sand pay a concession stand that is fairly cheap and has typical food kids like with ice cream they provide life jackets they have big bathrooms that are usually pretty clean the pool itself and the outside is usually pretty clean and there's a lot of chairs. The pool is fairly warm usually. The price has gone up a little over the years I think that if you're a resident it should be a little cheaper than $10 a person. But what has went down over the years is the management and the way it is run. I understand that with covid and lifeguards being kids in school that they are trying their best to function and running establishment safely to make sure people are safe in the pool but they need to do a better job of trying to stay open when the weather is permitting and it's necessary. We have not been there yet this year because of what has happened last year they would not open or close early for literally every little thing one day we were headed there and it was 80 something degrees out and sunny and they closed the pool early and when we got there it was closed. That actually happened a few times. There is times where they have an open because they said that the pool was having technical difficulties but yet nobody was ever working on it. There is also times where we have went there and literally have only been there for an hour and they close for whatsoever reason. But the one day that really bugged was the day we came through the entrance they charged us we literally found somewhere to sit and they cleared the pool and had everybody stand around for an hour and then decided to tell everybody they were closing but handed out passes tell everybody to come back but they can only come back on certain days and before they close for the season which they closed early for the season last year. Like I said I understand that the times we are living in now is tough but if you are going to actually open and try to manage a pool there should be no reason that it should be getting closed for no good reason I remember there was a time where we were there and they closed an hour and a half after we got there because they said there wasn't enough people attending but yet there was a good 20 people...

I was just at munster pool today With my veteran husband and children. And We are all very upset with how we were treated. So I have some questions for you. What difference does it make to wear a tank top on my own body? Why do I have to feel ashamed for covering up my bathing suit? Why do we have staff questioning my son about his shorts which ARE in fact swimming trunks and the only pair he’s comfortable wearing. What difference does wearing these on our body make to anybody else? Not only that they came up with some random excuse for my kids not being able to wear goggles!!?? My husband is a combat medic and knows that it makes no difference what so ever if there is a nose piece attached to the goggles. Last year we had a pleasant experience I was able to wear my tank top and my kids wore what they wanted and they had goggles on and not a single word so why is this year so much different? You have uneducated young kids as lifeguards and a manager that doesn’t know better. I’m extremely upset and we were here 10 minutes and we’re bombarded with questions and told we get no refunds even if we want to leave. I will have to go farther with this because the way we were treated today was unimaginable. On top of that it’s a shame that you guys don’t even give a veteran discount or any type of discounts we will never be back and I will make sure that other people are aware of this. And let it be known that other people had their shirts on in the pool but I was singled out! And believe me you will lose lots of business if you treat your customers this way. And we haven’t been there since. Was thinking about trying again but worried they still have their ridiculous uncalled for rules...
Read more06/14/22: So I’d like to start if by saying this was the first and last time I’ll be here. At first everything was fine, water is great, location is great, but the lack of leadership in management is what was most apparent.
There was a family that was constantly breaking the rules such as splashing the water super hard and throwing footballs across the pool that can potentially hit little kids or even babies (this is not allowed per the rules) however, the lifeguards were not doing anything to stop this, they gave this certain family more than 10 chances which is more than enough because at the end of the day, we all paid the same amount to be there.
The worst part is that there’s an adult-only time frame in which kids who are under 18 cannot be in the water. The same family who was giving everyone issues kept their children in. I brought this up to the manager, Jasmine, and she said kids who were CLEARLY NOT 18, were 18 while everyone else had to keep their kids out. This manager, Jasmine, gave my children and girlfriend nasty attitude because god forbid I bring up an issue that’s not only affecting me, but everyone else.
I took the initiative to voice my opinion to that same family and was immediately called racist. That family prompted their kids to essentially harass us and yet again, none of the staff did anything. This place needs a change in management because they are the ones that encouraged and allowed this terrible and ignorant activity. It’s a COMMUNITY pool yet there was no semblance of it being a community. Side note: there were a lot of Illinois...
