Dirty. Not very welcoming. We enjoyed the movie itself, but the overall theater experience at UEC was disappointing. The auditorium was hot and humid, the volume was too low, and the seats and general cleanliness need SERIOUS attention. The bathrooms and theater seats were absolutely disgusting—definitely not acceptable for a place where families bring their children. Honestly, the whole building feels like it needs a complete remodel. With some real investment in cleanliness and comfort, this place could be so much better.

We saw they had “luxury recliners” and figured that it had to be a decent theatre. They had recliners, but their definition of luxury was fraudulent at best. Their recliners are reminiscent of crime scene photos. Who died in these seats earlier? Absolutely appalling that a greedy amoral company would expect people to pay their hard earned money for this type of “luxury”.

This movie theater has it all! Good food, friendly staff, and the best part is you select where you want to sit before you enter the theater. Loved being able to purchase our tickets online and pick your seats on there as well. The seats are the best as they are basically really comfortable recliners that actually recline.

Normally I would give five stars - we have been here many times with no issues - but had a very unpleasant experience tonight. We went a few hours early to purchase tickets for the 7:15 LEGO Batman movie that my son has been looking forward to for months. When purchasing we had to choose our seats in advance. We chose F7, 8 & 9 - right in front. We arrived at 7:00 and took our seats. My fiancé then went back out to buy some drinks. While he was away a couple with their son came up to me and my son claiming we were in their seats! They showed their tickets to me and, yep, F7, 8 & 9! Hmm! My fiancé had our tickets so my son and I got up to go find him. The family sat down. I took our tickets back to the man and showed him that lo and behold we BOTH had tickets for F7, 8 & 9! So we went out to find a manager. The man and my fiancé went up to the kiosk to try to straighten it all out. The manager seemed at a loss. She offered no apology or acceptable resolution. She kept saying it wasn't her fault and there wasn't anything she could do - including issuing a refund. (Meanwhile a veritable mob was waiting to purchase tickets. There should be more than two people working the box office on a Saturday night.) She claimed the seats were all but sold out even though a good portion of the theater was empty. We would have gladly moved seats to the empty ones in front but they were supposedly taken? The other couple had purchased their tickets online so she thought if she had their receipt she could figure out what went wrong. She went into the theater where the other lady and her son were sitting in row F and FINALLY figured out that their tickets were for FRIDAY's show!! Then instead of apologizing she went on to tell my fiancé and the other gentleman that it wasn't her fault and it was no reason to attack her. NEITHER of them raised their voice or used fowl language. They simply wanted a resolution. She was adamant that it wasn't her fault but as the manager she needs to take responsibility for the theater's and employees' role in the problem. Yes the other family had tickets for the wrong day, HOWEVER, when they presented their online receipt an EMPLOYEE printed the tickets. An EMPLOYEE failed to recognize the error. The system is clearly flawed and that is the THEATER's responsibility. And if it weren't for the assigned seating NONE of this would have happened. My family missed the first 10 to 15 minutes of the movie and the other family ended up leaving. I feel so bad for that little boy who I'm sure was looking forward to seeing Batman as much as my little guy. The other family made an honest mistake and instead of making an unpleasant situation less unpleasant for everyone, the manager made it worse! The correct way to handle a problem like this is "I'm so sorry this happened! Let me make it right. :)" Not, "Don't attack ME! It's not my fault!" That's very poor management. We did finish the movie - which was AWESOME, btw! But afterwards I was stewing. I thought we were owed something, if only an apology. My fiancé went up to the manager to ask about comp tickets. Instead of an apology she AGAIN went on about how she felt "attacked." She was reluctant but he did finally get three inconvenience tickets -...

I am a caregiver for an elderly man in town who is in a nursing home in Norwalk. He wanted to go see a movie . He is now in a wheelchair and this was the first time for me to experience pushing someone in a wheelchair. First you have no designated handicapped parking. When taking him up to the sidewalk , there is not a level smooth spot, or concrete ramp , to make it easy to get up on your entrance sidewalk. I had to have a mother and several of her children who were walking by to help me lift the wheelchair up onto the sidewalk with the person in the wheelchair. Then came the part of getting in the door. There are no automatic opening doors for handicapped people for easy access. I had to struggle walking backwards and trying to open the door and pull the wheelchair in thru the the door. The medal plate on the entrance of the door was a problem to get the wheelchair over it. I could not find any attendant to help me prop open the door to get into the theater room and no one to offer to help us carry our food and drinks. Both of my hands were pushing the wheelchair and the man in the chair has Parkinson disease and has shaky hands and could not hold the drinks himself.Going out was the same problem as I had to wait to find someone to help open the door for us and help lift the chair over the medal plate at the door. Then I had to push the wheelchair a ways to get to the car. It was very tiring on me to do all of this extra when we just wanted to get in to watch a...

Purchased tickets for kungfu panda and selected our seats. right after that we wanted to purchase food and drinks but were told we couldn’t buy anything until they figured out what theater they were going to show it in. The tickets we purchased were for theater 6 and then we were told it was going to be theater 1. They allowed us to buy food and drinks, but didn’t tell us the movie had already started at 4pm. Movie time for theater we purchased was 4:30. When we walked into the theater we had already missed over a half hour of the movie. I went to the desk and asked why this happened and why we missed over half hour of the movie. They said sorry for the inconvenience but the theater we had purchased tickets for had technical issues and we had to be moved. They would not take responsibility for their mistakes and would not refund us for the tickets or give us passes for another showing on another day. Very rude staff. And during our food purchase we saw 2 men eating and one was constantly wiping his face with his hands and actually picked his nose in front of everyone! The whole theater looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in some time. Two of the seats we had, had rips and sticky stains on them. All in all it was a very disappointing experience and we will not be going back due to the rude staff, poor conditions of the theater and poor hygiene by staff. I recommend spending your...
