I've been meaning to write this review for quite some time now. I am on the go a lot with my work so I frequent the Norwalk chipotle 1-3 times a week. I NEVER have a problem unless the one female manager is working. I'm guessing that half of your negative reviews are probably a result of her. She literally gives you NO food in your order. About half of the portion of any other employee. Not only did I work in restaurant management (BOH & FOH) for a decade before going into my current job field, I also worked at Chipotle previously. I KNOW what the serving portions are for the chipotle standard. I KNOW how chipotle stresses the importance of making your food the way the customer orders it. And I KNOW how customers (especially regulars) should be treated by management. I know all of this because I went through management training. I put off writing this review because I wouldn't want her to lose her job, but, I promise you that you have probably lost lots of business and will continue to until she is re trained on what is the chipotle standard when it comes to portion sizes. I have dietary restrictions due to a neurological condition so I can only eat about about 5 ingredients in the line. So when I ask for extra, that is why. Because I cannot eat most of the items offered, unlike others. I am paying the same price as everyone else, I am paying to have a full bowl. Not one that is just barely covering the bottom of the container (no exaggeration). I am to the point where I don't want to eat there unless I go in and make sure she isn't working because I refuse to beg someone to make my bowl correctly. I love chipotle and am so happy there is a Norwalk location but it is not worth the stress of picking up a mobile order and then having to go in and have it remade. Read moreReally poor customer experience. Placed pickup order for 210pm. Arrived and waited at the window. Nobody acknowledged us. After waiting for a considerable amount of time an employee said there system is down. Come inside. Waited an additional 10 minutes for someone to help me as they were making another person's order from the to go line. I have now been st this place 20 mins past my pick up time. The manager sees me standing with another person and asks if we have been helped. Both of us had the same issue online order not fulfilled. The other lady walks out stating she is calling corporate. The manager informs me the system is down and my card has been charged but I will need to call customer service to get a refund. I asked about my food that my family has been waiting on. She said I could go to the end of the regular line which was wrapped back into the dining area. Food wasn't ready at drive thru window blamed it on system. Poor attentiveness while sitting at the window and after coming inside. An indifferent attitude displayed towards customers just looking for clarity and help. Waited 20 mins total just to have someone talk to me. Card was charged and no food was received. Solution was I have to call corporate customer service. I had been waiting 20 mins just for someone to explain the situation and their solution was for me to wait at the back of the line for another 20+ mins as the line wrapped back into the dining area to place an order and they would need me to pay again. Read moreThere was 4 people there one was at lunch one was stuffing to go basketball for door dash bag,a girl cooking beef,I was 2nd in line the person in front only want guac and chips, we waited 10 min. And I waited 8 minutes more before the guy with bandages on his left hand waited on me. I was going to have the chicken bowl, but the chicken was dried out, not looking ediable, I let him know, he just didnt care ,So I got the steak, I asked for dbl.rice,single meat,salsa mix chees,asked for double dip rise,and sour cream, When I let him know I wanted dbl cheese,and he sprinkled a small amount on top, saying I gave you alittle extra,and that's enough. That being said, the place was a mess, under staffed and the guy with bandaged fingers needs to get reschooled. I taking the meat that is unediabo because it's an ball of big veins and grizzle. . No only was the portions was small, the meat was mostly fat,grizzle,veins,, to top it off very thing was cold.. I got a bowl,you would think it would be really warm or hot?
