I was recently recommended to go to Firelands Chevrolet Buick in Norwalk Because I was unhappy with the sales experience I got from another dealership. From the moment I met Tom Biddlecombe and started working with him it was clear I was given the right recommendation! Tom was such a breath of fresh air! He listened to my situation, understood my needs, worked with me on my particular choices, and gave me a very specific recommendation. We talked about a few options for different cars, went over the features and what I was looking for, he was able to narrow it down to the exact type of model that I needed based on all of my intricate requirements. I was really impressed with his knowledge and more so specifically of each individual model and the differences between them. When you are looking at the same car you donât often think about trim levels and things that an average buyer wouldnât consider. I can be particular, but he never wavered. He was very patient and kind, and even when I wasnât sure on what I wanted he gave me the time to research, meet with him again a second time with zero pressure, actually let me do the test drive and find the car that I wanted that suited my needs as opposed to something being forced at me like a sales pitch. When you go in as strangers and walk away friends, feeling like family, thatâs the best feeling! This time around I had zero buyers remorse!! Everything he said was correct about the car the style, the fit, he was accurate as can be! That kind of experience and knowledge is something that is to be valued, and is not something that I have found at other dealerships. While I was considering making what I feel is a big decision, Andrew had helped me understand my budget, worked with me on picking the right financial terms that I felt comfortable with. Although I traded in my very new 2022 car, he was able to work a deal together that was so financially sound, I drove away feeling like I got a better deal than I came in with. I cannot thank this team enough for the amazing experience start to finish, by the way that they treated me from the moment I walked in there was beyond anything that I have experienced before. They truly made me feel like I was cared for and respected like family!    Read moreLast Thursday (8/28), my family was driving through the Norwalk area heading home for a funeral when our check engine line appeared. After stopping at a local auto parts store and using their code reader, I realized it was a power train issue. Since I drive a GM product, I called the closest dealership, which ended up being Firelands. I spoke with Autumn, explained the situation, and she said they'd be able to get us in pretty quickly. It was only 1/2 mile away, so we headed over. upon arriving, Autumn met us right at the drive-through service door and introduced herself. She was friendly, professional, and was very easy to deal with. Once she ran the code on the car, she said they would be able to take a look within the next 24 hours to determine what needed to be fixed. In addition, she advised us that we were still under our manufacturer warranty, so the repair would likely be covered. I explained the reason for our travels, and she was incredibly helpful in getting us set up in the service department and helping to get us a rental vehicle that was also covered by the warranty. She even went as far as getting one of her drivers to let us transfer all of our belongings into one of their vehicles to give us a ride to the car rental company. When we arrived to the rental company, they had everything ready to go for us and allowed us to drop the rental off to the dealership when our vehicle was complete. It took the service department less than 24 hours to determine the issue and fix it. And as promised, everything was covered under warranty. From the time we walked in until the time we picked up our car, the service, professionalism, and kindness shown to us was out of this world!    Read moreIn 2015 I leased a new Buick Encore. It took five hours to complete deal by an inexperienced saleslady. Car was fine! In 2017, I leased a Buick Encore from Kasper Buick. Things went fine! This year, 2020, I leased a Buick Encore from Firelands Buick- it was a nightmare. Had a Buick ready to go at another dealership (Port Clinton, OH), but, over the phone, he made me a great deal. So I drive there only to hear the young salesman say he didn't say that and he couldn't do the deal. I was looking at a beautiful blue 2020 Encore.. The salesman told me it had a few miles and had been used ONLY by the owners wife? So we made the deal. 1-2 days later the brakes were pulsating badly so they turned rotors,4300 miles? Car was not to clean upon delivery. Old salesman when they did the brakes he said they would clean it,,they didn't. Told salesman car was getting bad gas mileage,he had some lame excuse! Called four times to talk to service manager to get history of car- no calls. Car hesitates when shifting,sluggish,and has a vibration in front end like a bad bearing or something?? Called today and spoke with sales manager,got lots of stories/ excuses! Finally talked to service manager and she car had previous repairs,air conditioning,and something else! When they fixed the brakes I told them air was not real cold and they also worked on that. Sales manager told me car was a fleet car,someone needed a car for some reason they grabbed my Encore! Also have a broken hatch cover bracket.
