The atmosphere overlooking the harbor is nice (it's a significantly nicer space than in Westchester) and the menu has some quality and tasty food items. Unfortunately over multiple experiences, the service was unimaginably bad. This place always seems understaffed whether they are half full or have three diners. We had one experience where the hostess simply stopped acknowledging guests and refused to seat anyone for half an hour by giving them the silent treatment. We eventually had to leave.
In another experience the host was constantly redirecting waiters. Our waiter told us our food was coming and the host told him to stop waiting tables and tend bar to fix a backup, so it took over an hour to get food. It didn't help that I was brought the wrong drink for the bar and only had this disgustingly sweet creation to sip on for an hour.
Every table in this restaurant had unhappy faces and disgruntled customers. It was a challenge just to get water from the staff and we had to go to the bar to do that.
Individual servers weren't very good at their jobs, but they were trying and working hard. This wasn't the case of one bad server, the whole place is mismanaged and has been consistently so for a long time.
If you want to stare at the Metro-North trains, it's a good spot. If you want to eat,...

They were swamped on the first weekend so all the misunderstandings were forgiven there and they were trying very hard! However, I reserved a table for brunch with a few days on a Friday morning and I was so disappointed that I chose this place. The waitress was way too intrusive, had her personal opinion about everything. A bit too pushy making me to order alcohol at 11 am. I hope Nordstrom will pay more attention to...
Read moreUnfortunately a sub par experience relative to its new york counterparts. Both the front of house and kitchen were very disorganized. We visited for Saturday brunch and were one of five tables seated. Waited half an hour for water and utensils before our server greeted us. Waited another forty minutes for the first dishes to arrive and another twenty for the rest of our table (of five) to get their food. Eggs were cold and gray and they substituted some proteins because they ran out. It was our third visit to the restaurant, we really wanted to like it, but it's just...
